Now, I'm as delighted as everyone else that we're in the cup semi final. But I have to ask, and it's very fucking evident on page one of this very thread - Why the fuck is playing at Wembley seen as an achievement in itself. It's the fucking semi final. Not the final. Should we win, we'll be in the final. So why are people celebrating "Wembley"?

Very true. Sturridge needs games and goals. Pains me how impatient some observers become about anything that's not perfect.

I had a stream with Craig Bellamy (sound) in the studio with R.Keyes (hairy) - boss picture, then Danny Mills on commentary (boring) so spewed it for a Spanish one.. better commentary and even if you cant understand it sounds better than BT droaning on.

i thought the 2 up front made a difference we were able to get higher up the pitch and were able to close and press much more effectively, both fullbacks had high starting positions in possession and Sterling and Sturridge were able to drift wide and create overloads on the sides. While Sturridge is still obviously rusty it certainly helped having someone up there with him and Henderson and Allen were both able to get forward in support with Lucas in behind them.

The problem is we can't do this with a back 3 we could go 2 up front but much more difficult to have those midfield runners when there's just 2 of them and i think we have missed Hendersons 3rd man runs.
