Replayed that touch down a few times still not sure if he was in, not enough to overturn the call.
It might take our producers five minutes to find 60 economists who feared Brexit and five hours to find a sole voice who espoused it.

Was only 2nd down anyway, and it'd have been about an inch from the goal line for the 3rd. I honestly didn't think it was in myself.

Yeah,I think they would have gone for it on 4 th down as well, would have left Atalanta on 1 yr lard line if they didn't get in.

BBC team are very good & Mike Carlson is always a good addition, SKY are lazy, there presenter is awful, you'd have thought she'd have gained some knowledge by now, but no, at least the BBC presenter has some knowledge of the game, the SKY presentation team needs a complete overhaul.

wow what a turnaround that was, crazy game to watch. couple of thoughts:

Atlanta fucked that drive up with 4 mins left big time. what was shanahan thinking calling a pass play? just run, run, run, kick the field goal and its two possession game and is pretty much over. Instead you get the sack, penalty and then give them the ball back with a one possession game. That is absolute madness from atlanta, how anyone could think that passing was a good idea?!

the overtime rules are so fucking shit, how unfair is it that cause the patriots won a stupid coin toss in a TIE game, that means matt ryan doesn't even get the chance to take his team for a score to try and tie it at least. it's ludicrous to be honest!

Still i was a bit disappointed when it was a blow out as i love exciting Superbowls so you gotta give credit to Brady and especially James White who was incredible to be honest.

New rule of thumb:

When playing the Patriots in the Super Bowl and it's getting late, JUST RUN THE BALL.

Regardless of the situation.  Just do it for goodness sake!

Dan Quinn will hear those words forever in his dreams.  "If we had just run the ball....."  Not his fault of course on the playcalling but it's rather unfortunate for him.

I went to bed at 28-20 when the Partriots lost possesion with about 2 minutes left. Looked for all the world that Atlanta would score - make it a 2 score game and effectively end it. I woke up this morning......

Wow, gotta give huge credit to the Pats, they are truly superb.  Brady, Belichick, possibly the greastest of all time....

However, that's the biggest choke in Super Bowl history by far!!!  Yes, the Pats were great, but they shouldn't have won that game, given the position the Falcons got themselves in!!

Unless they come back to win it in the next year or two, this team will be remembered for being the greatest chokers in history!   :D

Unreal comeback from the Patriots, credit to them. The playoffs were fairly boring to be honest but at least the Superbowl was good. Already looking forward to September.

Woke up convinced the Falcons had won it.
If I live to 100 I'll never understand their play selection at 28-20. I mean, didn't Julio Jones catch the ball just outside the 20??
Ryan just cannot take a sack there on 2nd down.  One football writer who calls those plays 'Bortles' (or 'Staffords') - taking a sack that moves you out of field goal range.  Even then, on 3rd down they got enough yards for a straightforward kick before the holding penalty forced a punt. (And silly pens killed the Falcons).

Tired now though. Going to be a long day at work..

How fucking stupid can you be, giving such a lead away? Went to bed at 28-3 and while I knew it was possible that the Patriots might come back, I thought it was very unlikely. In the end, I don't really regret not staying up, as I'm not too interested in the Falcons. And while having witnessed an epic comeback like that would have been special, it would also have made me angry as it's the Patriots. Then again, you just have to respect Brady, Belichick and the whole franchise for what they've achieved. And if they weren't already that comeback has made them immortal... ;)

What transpired was equally unbelievable and believable in equal measure.

I still can not believe we pulled this win. When it went overtime, i thought Falcons will win to make our grief even sharper after such a comeback. It's crazy our super bowls always go down the wire, first seahawks game and now this. Congrats to all fellow parriots fans here.
