De Gea and Mendes ‘ready to put pressure’ on Man United to get Real Madrid move. #MUFC

http://sportwitness.co.uk/de-gea-mendes-ready-put-pressure-man-united-get-real-madrid-move/

It appears that David De Gea to Real Madrid is becoming a real thing again, and ABC in Spain explain the Manchester United goalkeeper isn’t going to mess around this time.

The Spanish media outlet explain the former Atlético starlet is intent on getting his transfer from Old Trafford to the Santiago Bernabeú this summer, because this is the perfect summer to do it.

He’s 26 years of age, is about to reach the best years of his career and only has two years left on his current deal with the Red Devils.

However, with no release clauses in England, De Gea knows the only way he is going to get his transfer is if he puts pressure on Manchester United and José Mourinho.

ABC explain the club and his manager need to accept the fact he wants to leave, and that Real Madrid are prepared to make the same offer they made in 2015 in order to convince the Premier League side to sell their star.

For all of this to happen, De Gea and Jorge Mendes are said to be waiting for the right moment to approach the subject with Manchester United, and there’s hope the super agent can convince his client and close friend Mourinho that letting the keeper leave for Madrid is the best thing to do.

Furthermore, ABC hint that James Rodriguez, also a Mendes client, could be used as a peace offering.

De Gea is said to have been offered a new contract by Manchester United, one that would keep him at Old Trafford until 2022, but the Spanish outlet state the player is yet to sign it, with the knowledge that doing so would prevent him from getting the move he so desires.

While they would rather keep David De Gea, the Red Devils are said to have targeted Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris as the alternative, were they to lose the Spaniard.

The goalkeeper’s girlfriend, Edurne, is also once again thrown into the mix, used by ABC as a reason why he would want to return to his home country, and they report Mendes will also use this as an argument to convince Manchester United to let him go.

Déjà vu, anyone?

im genuinely amazed she's still with him this long, she's fine as hell, why the fuck has de gea wanted to stay away from her for so long???

Like how they could give them James Rodriguez to help get him, they jib off Rooney and replace him with another fatty. But he's another adidas guy and will help them shift shirts, does fuck all from a footballing perspective as he plays where pogba should be.

Was there ever a proper explanation for that?  Because to get it agreed once, and yet never go back since to inch it over the line in the four transfer windows since, just doesn't smell right to me.

If De Gea fucks off it's got Schmeichel written all over it. He's got the perfect mentality to play for that lot.

To be "at sixes and sevens" is an English idiom used to describe a condition of confusion or disarray.

Perfectly made for Jose.

The best thing about this whole thing is that if you look on Red Cafe, they think Mourinho is a genius that can do no wrong.

Apparantly the most expensive squad in footballing history is shite and Mourinho is doing an amazing job keeping them even this far up the table.

To be fair to the Red Cafe posters - all the ones kissing Mourinhos bum have clearly never been to a football ground in their lives, but still.. :lmao
