You know what, I've been to Hull, liked it. Interesting town with an important history (Wilberforce, etc.), very good museums. White telephone boxes. Had a good time, chatted with some nice people. They're not all twats like the people that were encountered on that site.
This is an obvious point, really... just saying don't judge a city based on morons on the internet.
I think they're right about this protest, the 'rebranding' of a team is everything that's wrong with modern football. I support Cardiff in their campaign against this franchise mentality, and I support Hull City too. People making jokes about how we should support the Tiger brand have short memories and should remember how awful it feels when owners and management are taking the club in a disturbing direction. I think we can and should support the City Till We Die campaign and shouldn't let a shower of twats on the internet skew our perception.
