I am the point of contact in work for writing off debt. Someone has asked me when their referral will be completed.
The law is that both parents have a representation period of 30 days so until this expires, I can't complete the write off.

What is the word I am looking for if my response is "Sorry, both parties have 30 days to respond, and I cannot _____ the process"

I know I could just use, speed up, but what is the word I can't think of?
