Just like every other team in the top six have so far this season? We'll probably beat them, we're better against the other big sides.
I'd like to think that but we haven't played any of those teams whilst in this run of form have we.

How can you not get pissed off, beaten 3 times at home in a row. Just sit back watch us pass side to side in front of your midfield 5 wait for the inevitable obvious ball to our forward who's back is facing goal win back the ball smash it down the line, forward gets ball runs at defence, they shit, we concede

Disaster of a week for us, pure and simple; three defeats in a row at home, out of the two domestic cup competitions, any hopes of a trophy this season very likely gone.

Well done to Wolves, they deserved to go through.

Big questions for Klopp and these players to answer.  The likes of Lucas and Connor Randall just aren't good enough to be in a Liverpool starting eleven.  The young players were the least of our problems today for me, frankly I'd rather have Gomez, Ejaria and Woodburn in the team ahead of the likes of Klavan, Wijnaldum and Origi in the inexcusable for they're in.  Too many supposed senior players didn't turn up today, again, and it's not good enough.

I hope the young players aren't moved out of the picture now that we're out of the cups, not when some of the first-team are really flattering to deceive at present.  Ejaria and Woodburn at least put in some effort for however long they're on the pitch which is more than can be said for a couple of the more experienced players who seem happy to aimlessly pass the ball around rather than make something happen.

There has to be a response and a quick one or things are only to get worse.

Desperate performance. Why put that side out? Why be left with 4 or 5 defensive players on the pitch at the end?

Mistakes galore by Klopp and all chance of trophy success gone.

With Chelsea coming up on Tuesday Klopp prbably felt that he should give some of the youngsters a chance. Christ sake Wolves are a Championship team and out youngsters should be able to deal with them.

At least the players will be getting plenty of recovery time for the rest of the season.
No need to strengthen now,  not that many games left.
If  we get top 4 it's been a decent season.
If.

Team selection meant we're focusing everything on the league, really. I doubt Jurgen is too arsed about this one.

I actually think your correct ,  back to one game a week now till the end of the season and after   the poor performances of the last few weeks and the way liverpool baffle me so etmes  I'm quite confident we will beat Chelsea . Need a positive spin at the moment roll on tuesday

Fucking shocking performance but - more worryingly - not a surprising one.

This January has gone from a loss of form, to a slump, to an all-out collapse in team spirit and confidence - all in the space of one month.

Be honest - After seeing us beat City on 31/12/16, who here could have even imagined this happening in their worst nightmares?

21-28/01/2017 - The week that killed our season.

Just have to hope that the team can recover enough to push on for top 4 now.

Fuck me - I feel so deflated right now.

he won't. The club cares about the league and getting into the champions league it just doesn't say so publicly.

So lets clear this up. Our form and confidence is shot, Like gone completely. Our next game is a lower league team so a good chance to get a few goals and raise the confidence a bit you would think? NO we play a weakened team and bring a few kids in!!!

Brain dead management I'm afraid. Just can't get my head around it.

Yup, and if we win this and lose to Chelsea you lot will start asking why weren't they rested for the chelsea game. You people can never be pleased.

Today should have been about restoring confidence, scoring a few goals, beating a side we should be beating, giving the fans something to cheer about and restoring faith in the players and management ahead of a huge league game.

Instead we let ourselves down collectively and let an average side beat and knock us out of what was probably our last realistic chance of silverware this season.

Feels fucking awful to lose 3 games in a row and miss the chance to go to Wembley and beat the mancs for silverware.

Jurgen Klopp and has team need to get back to basics and I would love to be a fly on the wall/grass at Melwood Monday morning.

We need a response from the Redmen before this turns into a real crisis.

Hard to be positive right now but hopefully the Origi goal gives the lad some confidence and we see him back to his best.

This manager is taking us places, this is just a blip in the road.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Except we weren't in the habit of losing week in week out when we played those top six sides. We're in the worst run of form I can remember, beating Chelsea looks a mammoth task.

We beat City and drew with United in the last few weeks.

Top 4 is all we have to play for now. If anyone dares to say we can still win the league they can kindly get fucked.

We're in a crisis now. No doubt about it. Chelsea on Wednesday and I genuinely fear the worst.

1-2. A terrible result. Again. And we saw the same problems we have seen in recent weeks. Wolves sat back and we started passing the ball sideways. And we kept doing that until Coutinho came on. When teams sit back, we need players to show for a couple of quick passes, open up space etc.

At HT I saw a statistics that saif Lucas had 88 passes. In the first 45 minutes. It sounds weird, but that's how we played. When Coutinho came on, I think we gave him all the balls instead. We improved. We found more spaces to exploit, but we need more activity from more players.

I guess the last few games should give us a lot of answers. But we need to get back to winning ways now. No easy way back, but we need to bounce back.
