I'm guessing he's being kept back for the Plastics game ... Clyney more poorly than we thought?

Reasonable side that... was hoping for Ojo in there. Good bench... and I really want to see a bit more of Woodburn up front in the middle. Doubt we'll see it today. Get some goals boys. Lacking a bit of fun in the middle tho... over to you young Ejaria.

Jurgen rightly focusing on the league by the look of it.

Winning a cup surely more important

Fuck it, we can do both.

Would love to see more Ojo but that's a pretty exciting side non the less. Wonder if we'll defend any better with that pairing at the back.

I'm guessing Ojo is injured again, bit of a shame. Nice to see Woodburn alongside some senior players though.

The midfield looks pedestrian again, let's home we don't come up against another bus.

Kinda hope Ojo is being held back for the league.....

The only player we have who can even remotely replicate what Mane brings to the table

Like that side though, priorities are right.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Like the thought behind the team - Tuesday is what matters though it's awesome to watch the kids would have liked a couple more ..... is Ojo injured again??
Would have rested Firmino too but maybe he's coming back to his best after a dip

Also how is Lucas still getting on the pitch in midfield for our club?! His ability to do witch craft on the brains of managers is impressive. Shows you how little Stewart is rated now I guess. Although he can come on when Lucas lets go on 65 in the traditional fashion
If we're going to keep playing this system we desperately need a younger player with the ability to fill in for Henderson in the cups next season

Shame Grujic has been injured, would have got a lot of games over the last few months.
Would be great to see 2, 3 or 4 goals today. A good win to get back on track and stuff Chelsea in the week.
Come on you reds.

Would like to have seen Matip start as he looked rusty, no Ojo is a surprise too. Could be a long day.

Disappointed not to see Ojo in the team but happy to see Wilson get on the bench again.  I do agree with you about Firmino and Stewart though.

Considering we stopped him going out on loan as Klopp wanted to keep him it would be extremely short sighted to not consider him after one performance.

Bit under strength for me but hopefully we get more space today and quicken the play.

We've looked knackered lately - we can't keep playing all our best players, and some are still injured.

They are 18th in the Championship - our players should be more than capable of beating them at home and we have a strong bench if needed.

Hopefully they are all up for this and don't get complacent - just get the job done redmen.

He only played once against Plymouth didn't he? He looked decent in that game, I'd bet it's just an injury that hasn't been made public like is often the case with squad players.

Wolves:

Burgoyne; Coady Stearman Hause Doherty; Edwards Evans; Saville Costa Weimann; Dicko.

SUBS: Lonergan, Batth, Enobakhare, Ronan, Gibbs-White, Bodvarsson, Mason.

That Weimann always played well for the Villa at ours under Lambert.

Wilson has been injury free and in better form than Ojo to be honest so he deserves an appearance on the bench ahead of him imo, really has been the standout player for the u23s this season.

I wasn't saying go full strength, id of probably gone with Matip and Coutinho to start for Gomez and Ejaria so not too much more. You can understand Randall in case Clyne doesn't make it for Tuesday. We have a solid bench so we'll have enough here.

A good performance would be nice going into Tuesday give people a bit of a lift.

Considering our lack of options out wide I'd like to have seen both given game time, they need first team football.
