3' - Not to be - weird - Moreno took the kick - the ball runs free from the kick and Argyle break. Karius comes waaaaaaaaay out to clear the ball and the green shirts end up kicking the ball around in our back corner giving the crowd some excitement.

Argyle get a dodgy corner that comes to nowt.

7' - After some farting around with a couple of passes, ball falls to Studge who fires a curler down the middle from 25 yards out. It sails over.

Young Alberto appears to struggling to find his team mates and has gifted the ball to Argyle a number of times.

9' - Moreno with a horrible hoik that goes nowhere. Origi manufactures a corner - lofted high into the box and is worked out.

10' - Coutinho with a tight chance in the box - can't squeeze it through.

Plymouth using the same gameplan as the Anfield game.

11' - Studge races into the box but is unable to beat the defender for pace. Doesn't hit it the first time and goes to ground. Not a pen.

Esteemed fellow commies disagree with lousy TV comms about that not being a pen.

14' - Woodburn works the ball into the box but finds himself wandering in a maze of green shirts. Ball is worked back again, green shirts get it and then wonder what this round thing is that they find at their feet. Unable to work out what the round thing is used for, the give it back the team in red.

19' - Good save from Karius. We get into a spot of bother as the Argyles swamp our box. Karius with a strong hand to the fend it out on the left. The 2nd ball comes back and red shirts swamp the attacker, who promptly falls over. We clear safely

23' - Plymouth get a free on the edge of the box. Gomez gets a yellow unfairly (fact not opinion).

Plymouth have played with much more enterprise since going 1 down.

FK comes to nothing

TAA comes running in brilliantly onto a Coutinho cross to the back post but cuts it back just too hard.

31' - Origi with a silly handball in that period. Lucky not to get a yellow. Gomez with a massively overhit pass to the front. Goalkick.

32' - Argyle with a very fast move down the right. They cross directly to a man in the middle of the box but TAA gets back brilliantly and clears the ball.

Moreno was too slow - hard to believe - to cut off the attacker. Gomez was wrong footed and saw the ball pass him agonisingly close

35' - FK 40 yards out on the right. Ball floated well across. 2nd ball cleared, comes back in and eventually lands in Karius' hands.

Argyle are playing well. In spite of being 1 up, we're not looking composed.

37' - Another FK comes flying in from the opposite side. Dealt with effectively however Argule work the ball out for a throw-in.

We turn the ball over and break, they get the ball back and break in return. Good pace from Gomez and Karius feeds the ball forward again.

Bit better from us in the last 30s.

39' - Coutinho works the ball well down the left. Past the defender and get the cross over to Woodburn. He can't control it and the move breaks down.

41' - Gomez with some untidy work in the corner - redeems himself by holding his man off and recovering well enough to backheel to a team mate along the line.

44' - Argyle have played well since the goal.

Moreno with a sharp run down the left. Gets a shot in across the goal but too close to the keeper who gathers safely.

45' - No subs at the break. Argyle kick off and work the ball brightly down the left. Ball is passed back to arriving green shirt who takes a potshot along the ground. Karius stops it comfortably.

Argyle with a long ball over the midfield, finds a player on the left - he crosses but there are enough red shirts in the middle of the box to clear comfortably.

47' - We find out way into their half and now start working the ball around. No real attacking intent, more ball control.

Stewart wastes a pass forward that is too long for anyone to reach.

50' - Plymouth are leaving plenty of space but we're unable to capitalise on it.

Ejaria pulls a shorts based Herrera and receives a yellow for his pains.

51' - Origi with a bit of quality on the edge of the box - finesses (and bullies) his way through 3 defenders. The cover defense is in place though and the ball eventually ends with Woodburn who lofts a kick across the box to an area vacant of shirts.

53' - Argyle starting to feel the effects of running at us for the last twenty minutes. A few of them are trying to press and they're making a couple of runs to the front, but nowhere near the level they were at a couple of minutes again.

54' - Moreno receives the ball and takes one touch too many. Corner is cleared. A minute later Sturridge is at the back post to receive a cross but he's well covered by a defender and the GK and sidefoots the ball weakly into the side netting.

56' - Corner to Argyle on the right. Directly to Moreno who kicks ii out. The ball is thrown in and lofted into the box.

Karius makes a hash of the catch ending up behind the Argyle man. Fortunately for us the Argyle fella hits it with his arm.

59' - Argyle are down out end at every opportunity and are pumping the crosses in.

Has to be said that our game management at the moment is poor.

Returning players look well rusty.

60' - A are passage of play where we work the ball well. Coutinho with a trademark feint with the right and pass to Sturridge with the left, only to find that Sturridge didn't anticipate it.

65' - Sturridge receives a beauty of a ball from TAA right at this feet on the edge of the box - the Studge we know would have buried that - this FA Cup version taps it tamely to the opposition goalie.

69' - 'libpool have suddenly upped a gear here with Wilson on. A couple of promising forays into the Green box. Still a bit too tippy tappy and not enough of putting your foot through it.

As I type that Sturridge takes a sharp shot with his left that the goalie parries well.

71' - Garita subbed for Rooney (ginger version). Long freekick in and Karius comes for it and punches behind for a corner. Corner is kicked deep and cleared after a bit of a scramble.

Argyle have discovered their 2nd wind and are starting to pump the ball in again.
