Good cross  :)
And popped up at the far post after about 10 seconds on the pitch. That "skill" alone will get him about 10 goals per season.

Someone mentioned Barnes, what I want is a return of the short shorts, PE teacher style, please. That'll show us more of his thunderous thighs.

As a child I never appreciated short shorts. As an adult I'm being robbed. Bring back short shorts.

What about a song?

To the tune of no limits by 2 unlimited (only quality tunes on here!)

Ojo, Ojo Ojo,
Ojo Ojo, Ojo, Ojo Ojo

Surely even I could pick up the lyrics to that?
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
“Generosity always pays off. Generosity in your effort, in your work, in your kindness, in the way you look after people and take care of people. In the long run, if you are generous with a heart, and with humanity, it always pays off.”

I worry about him getting the opportunity to develop this season. He's too good to be sat on the bench this season not getting game time but with Mane, Lallana, Coutino, Firmino, Milner and Markovic there's a lot of other guys taking minutes. I think he should go on loan, when we're back in European football it'll be much easier to develop him.

Klopp will prioritize the league, not saying he won't give any importance to the cups but he definitely won't put the strongest 11 against Birmingham City in the league cup. Ojo will definitely get minutes in cup games. Klopp has said he doesn't like loaning his potentially star players.

We've got a few like Lallana, Milner, Firmino etc that might limit his starting time but not many that can add pace off the bench against tired legs. Could be very handy super sub.

He is our alternative to Mane. I have a feeling that if Mane doesn't play, Ojo will.

People getting carried away a bit here. Huge talent, but inexperienced and makes plenty of mistakes. He is an excellent option to bring off the bench against tired legs, but I think Klopp will ease him into the first team picture rather than what happened with the likes of Sterling and to a lesser extent Ibe.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Played well tonight, there's huge potential in him which was on display against Milan.
Then again he switched off completely a few times and his awareness of what's happening around him still needs work from the coaches, but a very exciting player indeed.  :)

He uses his pace, power and directness to great affect. Will be a useful player off the bench this season.

He has just turned 19. Let the kid develop in his natural environment with the U-23 team, and get some games in the cups. We have no need to push him, with the attacking options at our disposal.

Klopp's  comments indicate he may still end up going on loan, hasn't totally ruled it out yet. Hmm, prefer having him as an option here to be honest, provides the thrust only Mane has from the wing, maybe Coutinho on his sharpest days.

Or Milner.

Considering Markovic wasn't even on the bench at the weekend the best he can hope for is sub.

there is a lot of truth to that - he joined right up with the team in order to impress Klopp - has some rigorous training session, and was subject to some pretty rough challenges in the couple of games he played - not surprised that happened to him.

I'm hoping this means he won't be loaned out, I think he's good enough to have a role to play here this season.  Probably the only player in the first-team who offers the same power and pace out wide as Mane, with more experience he'll be a star here.
