You just knew Benteke would score. Great goal by Phil, then we go and piss the lead away with shite defending, really poor from Lovren. Need to see much more urgency in the 2nd half.

To then see Sakho playing rock, paper scissors with Benteke was a kick in the teeth too.

We did the hard part.. score against a team that are masters at letting us have the ball & putting all their players behind the ball... as is often the case though, it's too much to ask for us to not concede

Agree, hopefully they will be angry when they're out again. Palace were poor with the exception of that move, need to be smarter though. But switcing Origi and Firmino will help hes not been in the game enough. Brilliant free kick by Phil living up to his nick-name, been our best player.

That is all well and good when Lallana is there getting in the box, but as it stands we've basically got 2 players trying to get on the end of a cutback, each of them closely marked by at least 2 Palace players

1 shot on target is nowhere near good enough. No idea what Lovren was thinking coming out that far for their goal. He hasn't got the pace to get goalside when he's spun like that.
