Fair result in the end, Can was a monster out there.  Origi has fallen off a cliff.

Would have taken a draw before the game, but that Lallana miss was truly gutting.

It's simple. We don't rotate. We play the same players week-in week-out.

Yeah no squad cost us today in the second half - same as at Old Trafford and Spurs. A midfield change of quality is everything in these games

I'm glad Lallana's terrible miss was cancelled out by Aguero's equally awful volley sitter.

How could Neville say it was a debatable pen.

Draw was a fair result, especially considering Oliver dropped another clanger for our pen (imo).

Shame about Lallana (who was excellent) missing the chance to finish off that beautiful move. Subs weren't great for me, after struggling all game Coutinho looked like he was finally finding a bit of form and space, only to be subbed off for Origi (who was hopeless).

1-1. Fair result. Shame Lallana couldn't hit the ball when he had that golden chance. On the other hand Aguero, De Bruyne and Fernandinho had some good opportunities too. A fun game to watch, but we have some work to do with our overall game. Still undefeated against the big sides. Impressive.

Crazy game of football that. A decent result and fair point, but all those chances missed  :-\

Thought Gini and Can absolutely bossed that, great to see. Klavan was a bit nervy all day, not surprised Aguero did him towards the end.

draw is kind of fair, with city have a slight edge in terms of play

the lallana miss is so frustrating, followed by firmino's one on one chance set up by coutinho

well a draw isn't too bad anyway, now let's make sure we win the games we should win then we will be fine. a big ask, i know.

Why do i feel disappointed?

Can we please buy a real centre forward in the summer? Firmino is definitely not the answer when it comes to converting chances!

Can was brilliant after the first 10 minutes.

Great game and a draw maybe fair result but also a missed opportunity with Citys tired legs.

Top 4 no longer in our hands as it stands!

Wouldnt worry about Utd, they have still got to play Chelsea, Spurs, City and Arsenal and only the Chelsea one is at home.

I suppose so, but then again that's all our difficult games out of the way now. Which on paper should be to our benefit, but usually isn't.

Both teams will look at that and think they could have won.

Ref gave too many freekicks to them that weren't and then let theirs on us go.

We were very poor down our left defensively. We need to tighten that up.

We would have won if Toure had stayed on as we were running through midfiedl.

I guess a point is fair but with a bit more composure we would have won.

I think Toure's tackle was a red btw.

Keep in mind their game in hand on us is away at Man City. They will drop points themselves.
Exactly, coupled with Europa league they've got their work cut out to finish top 4. If we win seven from our final nine we'll be ok I think. Five of those at home.

I'm satisfied with that I think we had more chances than City. It was a very open game, which is why I can understand the subsitutions. We played really well when we went up 1-0 and defended with real intelligence. But once City got the goal back which was a good one, they really went for the winner. We still had chances though, Bobby should have made more of the gorgeous pass Phil gave him. Don't even ask how Lallana missed the chance, but to be fair City had chances which were surely easier to score from, then miss.

Can was awesome second half, lost count how many times he went steaming upfield, need to see more of that from him. The once thing we couldn't afford to do today was lose, and we didn't.

Fair result on reflection, aguero missed a few chances he normally would have buried. Cannot believe lallana missed that chance, bread and butter for him this season

Great performances from can, wini and clyne overall (more so second half)

Coutinho needs a rest i think, doesn't look like he's recovered & milner reminded me why it'll be nice to get a proper left back in the summer after getting beaten by another cross

Clyne and Can our best players today- both outstanding.

They could have been down to 9 at the end- Toure should have gone and Silva plus Fernandinho pulled us back on the break whilst booked- ref waves play on and then doesn't book them

Gave as good as we got, terrific game of football. Can and Wijnaldum superb. Disappointing to draw when leading but would've taken that before the game. Will be having nightmares about Lallana's miss for years to come (like Joe Allen at Goodison in 2013/14).

Our lack of options cost us the win I think, City made a change that swung the game in their favour, don't think we had that option.

What a great game. That's what it's all about. Two teams going at it hammer and tongs,  both have their flaws but great to watch. No nonsense or handbags. Guardiola gets stick from some but he's a pretty classy bloke.  Refreshing to not have a big game ruined by negativity and histrionics.

Could have won if we'd taken those chances but City can probably say the same. It's a decent result and caps off our brilliant record against the top 6 nicely.
