Has Graeme Le Saux gone there straight from school?
I was just thinking he doesn't look a day older than he did in 1995.

every time I see that Lanzini play I have to say he has a very similar style of play to Coutinho, nowhere near the same level as him but very similar in style.

You'd have definitely thought City were all over us and we barely deserved a point judging by the highlights and discussion.

MOTD Premier League Show on The Derby this evening.  Played an old clip of some geezer saying "There's only 2 teams in Liverpool; Everton and Everton Reserves".

Was really weird to hear as it's always usually the other way round from the famous Shankly quote.

Other than that it was a fairly decent attempt to cover the preamble to the match, with even Tony Bellew managing to remain reasonable and respectful.
David Platt has a face like a Michael Myers mask being stretched over a dinosaur egg.
Aquilani is better than Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Messi and Beckenbauer put together.

Bellew said it's the first time in a long while that both teams are going for the same aim, bearing in mind tests not really the case (CL is realistic for us but most certainly a bit too far for them) but under Moyes they weren't normally much more than 2/3 places below us and did finish above us in moyes' last two seasons so they did actually have it better than us for a while not that long ago?

And Lawrenson referring to Liverpool as "they".   ::)
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Pogba left them on a free, Zaha for 6m, so Zaha should cost at least 100m for them, then! ;D
