Not today but it could be as early as tomorrow. It'll definitely be next week, whoever it is will already be lined up.
nooooo chance, especially not on a sunday
Not a chance, would show a complete lack of respect to Rodgers.

Yeah I just realized it would be very disrespectful. Just couldn't wait to find out anymore  :D

Really want it to be Klopp.

I just have a bad inkling when it comes to Ancelotti. Think it could go wrong. He hasn't proven himself with a club of our profile and for me that's a massive factor against him. It's one thing managing clubs with huge bankrolls, and that we are not.

Klopp has shown what he is made of at a club with a similar profile like ourselves in Dortmund.

Rick Parry hit gold when he appointed Rafa from Valencia, and it was an appointment of the same vein that Klopp would be. Appointing a manager with proven success at a club below the super elite.

Klopp is the standout choice, and truth be told i'll be devastated if it were to be anyone else.

Seems like one of the two atleast...

Are you fishing? No he doesn't, unless you think high-pressure intense football is boring.

Would prefer Ancelotti though, i think Klopp is a nutter who hides it well but blasts his players.
No, I have no idea how his teams play. Was a genuine question.

maybe we are getting both?  Ancelotti DOF Klopp Manager?

In a way this would make sense - Klopp's very much a hands-on, get on the training ground manager, and Carlo's had his health issues recently, so he'd probably be happier in an 'upstairs' role. Plus, getting someone of his reputation to sell the club to potential players would be immense, we'd immediately be in the market for world-class players.

BUT it'll never happen, not least because it'll be ludicrously expensive to hire them both, and we have to pay off Rosgers and his staff's contracts as well.

No, I have no idea how his teams play. Was a genuine question.
Ultra-high intensity pressing. His players run the most in Europe per match I think. Press until you have the ball, then spring a really quick counter attack.

The criticism was that he only had this one style, and got found out a bit towards the end of his time at Dortmund. And that nobody's sure if he can sustain that intensity here, with two cup competitions, more games in the league and no winter break.

If it comes down to a choice between Klopp and Ancelotti, then it absolutely has to be Ancelotti. No question or doubt about it

His CV is pretty damn impressive

Agreed. Best CV of any manager in the last 15 years in my opinion. Operates with class and dignity and has premier league experience.

I don't even want contemplate anybody outside Abcelotti and Klopp.

FSG wise cant see past Ancelotti if he wants it.

- Success in multiple league including the Premier League
- Adapts tactics to squad
- Great in Europe
- Good company man... Worked under some of the most difficult owners in football
- Unlikely to see us as a stepping stone

The challenge for whatever manager gets the job is immense. If they win their first game in charge they have a 2 point and 4 point lead on our main rivals for 4th. Lose and we are 4 behind.

I really hope the people in charge know what they're doing. I was one of the few to 'vote' for Rodgers on a poll on here before his appointment and I felt he still had the ability to get us out of this slump.

Let's see how the boo-boys and Internet warriors react if we don't instantly improve

What worries me with Klopp, is that his style may not fir our current players.

Whoever we hire, I expect a lot of departures from now and to the end of the summer transfer window in 2016.

Yeah, now I recall, that was the issue, the players would be fucked by Xmas. Ancelotti more experienced, and for me tactically more astute. But Klopp feels like a nice fit for a club like us. We feed off emotion, and he brings a shedload of it.
