I do remember that, though didn't go. I just mean that it's such a shithole once is too often! Wimbledon had better facilities

Spare a thought for the regular away travellers in 94/95 when there were SIX trips, as we played both Wimbledon and Palace in the league and the cup, and the two cup games were originally postponed at very short notice!
yes I was in the ground for one of them it had been raining all day and the pitch had puddles all over it the ref came out and through a few balls about and called it straight off. 6 trips I made there that season and saw 4 games

Remember going to most of them, always seemed to be shite weather and we usually lost. Didn't we get knocked out of a cup thanks to an own goal off Steve Nicol's arse one time? ;D
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. If we're home, any guesses as to the requirements? All with Bolton home, then all STs? Or would they include other comps (like they did for  Beşiktaş home)? What are the chances of all members? Suppose it depends on the opposition...

Preston or Middlesborough at home please. I love a good Cup away (see today) but in the quarters you just want to get to Wembley and therefore want the 'easiest' draw possible - not saying Preston or Boro are easy but drawing them means one of Arsenal or United are out!

If we got to Wembley what do you think the criteria would be?

Other than those gone to away games loads will have the 1 home game. I'm in the ACS but still wouldn't fancy my chances of gettin a ticket

Torn Between getting a home draw or an away draw incase we get through. What did they do for the LC final in 2012?

Assuming we get an away game next those who went to the aways will be guaranteed a ticket. Those who went to the home match against Bolton will go into the ballot. That's what they did for the League Cup in 2012 when City at home in the semi was the only home game.

Only speculations, but I would imagine the following:

If we get an away in the next round it's a minimum of 2+ matches that will guarantee a ticket for a potential semi.
If we get a home matches you're guaranteed with 3+ matches.

For a final I'd say the same apply if we don't get united or Blackburn away, seeing as we will get a 6-8k allocation. And than It would be 3+ guaranteed and after that STH with 2 and after that a ballot for members with 2 it there's any tickets left.

Mine's for the semi final mate. You get more tickets for the semi final than you do for the final. If we have an away next you'll be guaranteed a semi ticket if you've been to all of the aways this season. Then those who went to the semi will go into the ballot for the final if we get there.

Anyone with an fa cup away and all home ties (pending draw) will be guaranteed a potential semi and final ticket. After that be ballot for season ticket holders with all homes and maybe for semi ballot for members with all homes doubt that would happen in a final tho. That's my guess

Being a member on the ACS and no aways I'd much rather a home game now, increase the chances of a semi ticket. An away which goes down to all members would be even better but can't see that with it being quarter finals now.

I wouldn't be so convinced that Blackburn away would be a large allocation.

Leeds had over 6,000 fans and caused trouble, so the local police refused to allow Stoke the whole end. And now Stoke fans have caused trouble, so effectively justifying their decision.

Am i not right in saying that Finals / Semi Finals dont go on away games??  Carling cup final few years back went purely on Man City at home semi final and it was a ballot for the final tickets then.  Wouldn't get my hopes up too much regarding guaranteed tickets etc.... P.S - were not in the semi-final or Final yet ;-)

They do go on all games. Remember City was the only home game that year. But anyone with an away qualified in the first sale.

Can't see them specifying all home + one/two aways.
It'll be 2/3+ if you attended 3 aways and no home you will (should) still qualify for a ticket.

Just had a look and we got 25k for the final in 2012! Even if we get Blackburn or united one match more than the number of home matches should guarantee you a ticket for a potential semi and final.

It's can't be a ballot for everyone with the semi. If someone attended all matches and someone got lucky in a ballot for the semi they can't both be put in a ballot for a final ticket..

But first we gonna make it past the next round!
