I just saw that episode, I was like

"Heeyyyyy, I was there like a last weekend! Sitting on those stairs."

They are probably still cleaning the place up  :P

I've been saving this season so I can binge it. Now might be the time to start!

It's cracking stuff mate - crash bang wallop every episode...dives in from the off and barely comes up for breath for the entire season...

A fitting season finale to a magnificent season. Makes you wanna see next season right away. Too bad we'll be waiting for some time now.

The first 15 minutes of this show reminded me of bad B Grade action movie. It became my guilty pleasure but I can't use that term to describe this show anymore. It's one of the best shows on TV at the moment with every season being better than the last.  Season 4 is too far away.

Definitely - a cracking end to a cracking season. I haven't taken the time to check out who is directing these episodes, but it really is of the highest quality. It's like the subject matter (and the fact that it was from Cinemax) is what made us all feel like it should be a guilty pleasure, but every other aspect of the show is so fucking solid. The lead (Antony Starr) is actually a really good actor. I have no idea if he has any range beyond this character, but he is perfect for this role.

Finally binge watched Season 3 over the last week or so... Fuck me.
Just when you think this show can't get any better or more crazy - all of that shit happens.
The fight between native chick and Kai's bodyguard...all the deaths, twists and turns galore..  more blood and violence than any other show but also a good story and great characters.

Fucking can't wait now for season 4.

Watched the first episode within the first five mins Hood and his cops had executed a new-Nazi and Anna/Carrie had gotten very naked with some dude. Then Chayton attacked an army convoy with a fucking bow-and-arrow, and when Job appeared at the end, dressed flamboyantly outrageous and bitchy as hell, I thought 'it's good to have Banshee back in my life'.  10/10 so far.

Got the rest of the series so I'll binge watch this this week.

Gumbo, give us a shout if you ever want to tread into the download world. There are loads on here better than I am at it (Cycling Dave in particular), but it's nothing complicated. I wouldn't have bothered myself, but I've got no TV options down here in the jungle ;) If you can grab it yourself, you don't have to wait for some businessman to decide to put it on the schedule there.

I have the whole series for a good re-watch when this one is done. Always delivers to what has been promised.

Dave is bloody great indeed. New shows recommended by him often enough and have found some gems from him. Pogdesign is a good site to keep track of all the shows you watch btw.

Couldn't wait after all and watched the opening yesterday. Don't know about other Cinemax shows but reminder how stunning Banshee's 1080p version is. Stunning, crisp image and all facial details are there.

Spoiler
Good introductory episode with the usual series' elements that make it so good there in abundance.

Semi-shocked with Rebecca's death.

I know it was only the beginning but since we have only got 8 episodes, Eliza Dushku should have been present from the 1st!

Gave up after the first six episodes of season one.
Was going to ask if it was worth jumping back on... then I read pistolero's "shite" comment off the first page and then his one just above so I think I have my answer. :-)
