Out went the superstars and in came the youngster tonight. Maybe that will wake them up.

That ref fucking hated me. Pulled us up for everything. Funny, because yours was the only team playing 'hard'  :D

Oh Bravo, you've lost your magic. Any spell has been broke

Time & again he's thrown his body on the line for PSV. The hero we need, but not the hero we deserve....a silent guardian.

But Father Time catches up with us all, and a successor must be chosen....show him the light of your ways  ;D

You have a great young core for the future in Mbappe, Dybala and Donnarumma Luis. One season in Division 2 allows you to rebuild and recharge out of the spotlight. I'll join you there as well.

Rested a couple tonight, might as well give it a good go in the cups this season.

Probably be fielding some awkward questions from Colin Wanker tomorrow.

Cheers, yeah definitely the makings of a great little team there despite all my fannying about with trades. Just got to be patient and let them grow...painful in the short term though!

Not quite reflected in the table but Shaktar are turning their season around. Soon we'll be 10th or 11th!

Nice bit of cup revenge against Barca tonight. I think we're unbeaten against them in all the cups! That was a ridiculously strong Barca B-team as well. Didn't expect that at all with the complete Inter reserves out, besides a few impact subs at half time. However, Borja Valero rolled back the years and bossed the game, putting us 2 up with a goal and assist. Barca then fought back to make it 2-2 and take us into a gruelling penalty shoot-out, which didn't see a single miss up to 5-5. That was until poor Thiago dragged his wide, up then steps the hero of the hour Valero and in it goes! We live to fight another day on the cup  :)

Could be tempted into a 2 for 1, or even a 3 for 1 deal for the right player in order to cut down the squad size a bit (I'm Bayern in case someone doesn't know). Make sure the player is shortlisted by me before making an offer.

Rested a number of players ahead of the cup game vs. WAXTAP, got knocked out anyway. Always knew I was a tactical genius!

Draxler enters the record books by becoming the first German in history to miss a penalty in a shootout! His mind must be on his forthcoming move to Turin..

Haha yeah, it does seem to be a feature of our matches!

In other news, Tevez finally drops down to 90. RIP old friend. One of my first signings (a 92 player at the time) and a hero of our promotion season with 15 goals.

Sold him a couple of days ago in the other world just when he was still 91.

Right I'm looking to do some deals in this world.

Mascherano, Buffon, Cavni & Vidal could all be up for grabs for the right offer.

Both will get 92 methinks. Should do anyway. Now if Icardi could just stop fondling around with his teammates’ wives he might get that Argentina call ;D

La Joya & The Truth…almost as incredible as PSV’s current points total!

Welcome dishwa. Did you read the gameworld description wheh you applied. There's a 40 squad cap and you can only buy two players from the remaining unmanaged in the gameworld per season (not externals, you buy how many you want). You cant buy from the same team twice (per season) and one of the to must be u21. Any questions drop me a line. There is a slight leeway with you regards cap on your first season. Dont go bananas over it

Apart from the squad cap, is there any need for the other rules for new managers?  It is hard enough for them as it is.

The only other rule is to stop unmanaged teams being pillaged. Imagine how hard it would be for a new manager with a pillaged squad?? If a new manager was able to buy more from the unmanaged, the unmanaged squads left would be utter cack

First 7 games, Koscielny fit and starting, 3 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat, 7 goals conceded.
Next 4 games, Koscielny injured, 4 defeats, 10 goals conceded.

There's definitely a pattern here  :(

Getting to a cross roads with this world.

My team has some fairly highly rated players, but the best ones are not the youngest.  However no one wants to buy older players like Mascherano even at 93.  Same for Cazorla, Buffon etc.

I think the transfer strategies of Man City, Dortmund and Manchester United are bad for the world.  Man City are only looking for under 23 players.  Dortmund only want to buy players who played for Dortmund.  Manchester United only want English players.  This just reduces trades in the world, which is a bad thing IMO.

I like it how Liam is actually trying to compete with Barca.  Wish some other teams did the same.

I am willing to buy young players and wait for the team to develop - but all the best young players have been bought by the top clubs, so I can't trade my highly rated players to do that, as teams like Man City are bizarrely going down the youth route - when they should be looking to win the title now IMO.

Just think the world is a bit flawed.  Might just focus on the other world.
