Miss him but don't want Holland to win just for one player. Mancs already are unbearable with all this Van Gaal shite from last night.

I'd be crushed to see him in a Man U kit.

I actually woulnd't mind at all. I\d be happy for him that he's getting one more season in a big league.

Was never his biggest fan but impossible for me to begrudge him a move like that after all the miles he put in for us.

I can't see Kuyt even considering moving to United even if van Gaal is the manager there.

Sadly I can. Financial suicide if he wouldn't accept any (rumoured) offer from them.
I'd hate to see it but at this stage Kuyt huffing and puffing all over the pitch would not be a threat to us....to be honest I do not think he could handle the Premier League for a full season anymore, I wish him well where ever he lands for his twilight years as a professional footballer.

Really don't understand this. Wouldn't be even sweeter when they can't reach top 4 next season and they know that they can't blame their Manager ...?
Anyway, love seeing that penalty from Dirk, expertly taken.

Let's hope that the rumours about Dirk Kuyt potentially moving to Man Utd are false.

I would hate to see him go there. Kuyt is a Liverpool legend, and one whom Liverpool fans have a great affection for. If he does go to Utd, he'll throw away all that goodwill.

I have been watching the Netherlands with mixed emotions at the World Cup. On the one hand, it was great to see Kuyt playing well for his country & then scoring that penalty against Costa Rica. On the other hand, I was hoping that the Netherlands get eliminated because of Van Gaal's Man Utd connection.

To be honest if it meant signing him ahead of a better, younger player I'd be all for it. And I loved Dirk here but at 34 he's not going to offer United a great deal. Can't believe it's a possibility for a second anyway though.

Pretty much what Nick said.

Plus, they'd be determined to hate him.

Really?

So it would not be that big a problem for you to see Kuyt (a son of Anfield) sign for Man Utd, Liverpool's most-hated rival?

Yorkykopite was Club Secretary in the Dirkie Fanclub, so I think his main concern is to have him back in the north west; regardless of club.
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

Where has that come from?

More like Kuyt commenting to the press:  http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/depay-should-pick-liverpool-fc-9119877

Zenden on the other hand, has allegedly talked directly to Depay about his experience with us.  Ayre allegedly in "secret" negotiations with Depay and his agent in Liverpool too.  The Manc link probably came up because they supposedly flew into a Manchester airport.  http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/memphis-depay-holds-secret-liverpool-5578040

Allegedly, we have PSV's permission to talk to Depay and the Mancs don't, although they're monitoring him.

Dirk is set to leave Fenerbahce this summer since his contract has expired, and has agreed to a 1 year contract with his old club in the Erdevisie, Feynoord.
