That CGI deer was something else. Just when you think the scrapyard stuff was bad, they've outdone themselves.

Doesn't beat this though  ;D

Genuinely thought he was having some sort of weird flashback with the oh deer in the zombie funfair.

Anyone else think this week's episode opens the audience up to Rick dying at some point? Both the deer incident and the dialogue with Michonne in the car. Kinda got that foreshadowing vibe about it all.

This show has gone completely mediocre somewhere along the way. This season has been very very poor, I keep pushing myself to watch each new episode hoping it will come back to being interesting.

I wouldn't say I'm loving it but I think it's been pretty good for sure. Apart from the CGI.

I'm expecting a cocktease similar to when they built up the Governor/Rick war all season and it didn't happen until the season after

I think we'll see the start of the battle, but not the end. Probably a cliffhanger with Rick or Neagan with a gun to the head.

Haha. First time I realised that was a post effect. How they didn't realise the light on her face was on the wrong side is hilarious.

Yeah, that deer was fucking really awful. Like 90's weekend TV kind of awful. They might as well had an apparition of T-Dog a'la Return of the Jedi standing there waving at Rick. Some of the shit the writers are pulling on this show these days is absolutely shocking. Contrived bullshit like that is the best they can do? A fucking deer that looked like it stepped out of the celluloid of Bambi? Brutal. I facepalmed several times during that episode. The problem the show runners now have is that they've basically made Rick and co. super heroes as far as dealing with the dead goes. They pose little to no threat now at all, so they have to invent these outlandish and ridiculous scenarios that make it look like their lives are in jeopardy. There's no way they can keep doing that.

Absolute shite episode. Don't hate, it's just the truth. They would have been better off use a stuffed deer instead of that CGI one. Thought Rick was hallucinating it was that bad.

Can't quite figure out how they've managed to fuck this season up so badly considering how good the first episode was.

Rick is a real life superhero now isn't he. I mean once upon a time being surrounded by a horde of zombies would be terrifying, now it's something humorous to him. Causally gets out the sunroof and steps over the baying horde. The sword toss was just ridiculous. Didn't mind the episode on the whole but far too many moment of "oh fuck off"

Rick getting involved with Michonne is the worst thing to happen to the pair of them and the show. They're more scary to watch than the zombies.

Horrific pairing. I don't mean this in any racial sense but they just don't go together.

It feels forced as it completely came out of the blue pretty much, so it's hard to imagine them as a serious couple.

Probably because of boredom, I kept thinking with all that Rick/Michonne lovin' (I don't mind them as a couple to be honest) I hope they have birth control, because you don't want to get preggers in this world, especially as Rick
already has two kids.

I quite like that they have paired up, at least from Michonne's POV, otherwise she would just be this ninja badass character who ultimately wouldn't care if she lived or died.

Keep thinking leverage for Negan, who is he going to capture that could possible fuck up Rick's grand plan?

Odds on Samurai sword or Tiger DEATH for Neegsy? (When that eventually happens, could be some way off)

It depends on how long it took Rick to find Shane and Lori (and how long he was in the coma. If we knew that, we'd know roughly when Judith was conceived and then could work out the rest.

I do agree on her, she seemed to be much older than the last time we saw her. At first I was thinking there was another toddler I'd forgotten about.
