The best singer I've ever seen live is Matt Bellamy, the range in the guy's voice is something else. James Dean Bradfield is good too, very powerful.

Whether you like Leona Lewis or not,  the girl's voice is outstanding. Infact looking back now, I still can't believe that some of her performances were on a TV talent show. This was probably one of the best live vocal performances for an "amateur" I'd ever seen at the time.

nothing controversial about mentioning Adam Lambert from American Idol, one of the omost technically gifted male vocalists (not including opera) i've ever heard, his vocal runs are in a league of their own
