Cheers chaps. I may be visiting the Apple store this afternoon...
He he he...Another one.
We are going to have to start giving posters barcode avatars, it will make it easier for us at checkout. I'll zap 'em, you pack 'em.
Should i abuse the mac's now or is there further discussion to be had?
Free country (supposedly). I'm going to be phoning them today or tomorrow about ordering mine I think... my dad's ordering a new PC though, and was wondering if he got a laptop from them as well if they could do a bit of a deal or something... will speak to him later when he's back from work and see when he's ordering the PC.
Friends don't let friends use windows. Talk him out of it. It's the loving thing to do.
says the man who has vista installed on his mac
Windows is excellent if you know how to use it properly.
It's shite, but we've all trodden this ground before :p
I like Windows.
Once the Mac arrives I'll be able to tell you in detail all the things you can't do on it, that you can do on Windows
It's not shite at all, you just can't use it properly Once the Mac arrives I'll be able to tell you in detail all the things you can't do on it, that you can do on Windows
Windows has loads of nice little things
Well, we'll see, I'll try for at least the first week to not install Windows and just use OSX at home.
When you can't do something, because it's different to windows (and older version of Mac OS even), do ask - makes everything do much easier :p
Surely it should just work?
chkdsk
Mac OSX 10.5 ships with AIDS on the disc, just so you know.
Is this Microsoft's latest reaction to apples "iEverything" branding? That they're refusing to use the letter i in protest?
They are pissed of with 'e-mail' too, so left the e out, too.
mal?ware?
Is this Microsoft's latest reaction to apples "iEverything" branding? That they're refusing to use the letter i in protest?(anyone remember someone (possibly Charles Shaar Murray) wrote a full page intro for Mac user a few years ago without using the letter "I", claiming an apple caused world shortage - and it read perfectly. Superb piece of writing.)
Edinburgh Apple Shop in 'no MacBooks' shock. How does this look?
Apple's pricing policy is incredibly strange

I love Charles Shaar Murray, would quite like to read that.
