Getting the Birkenhead ferry after the Spurs game
« on: January 26, 2017, 11:01:57 am »
Good deals going with Stena line from Belfast to Birkenhead at the minute.
Is it possible to make the 22.30 sailing from Birkenhead straight after the Spurs game.
Check in closes at 21.30 the game will be over by 19.30. Is it realistic I can make the ferry terminal for 21.30

2 hrs to get from anfield to birkenhead? No bother.
I always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside… Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves.

Its fine. Just bear in mind that the trains are not running over to the Wirral, but the bus replacement is similarly frequent.

It's probably also a mile walk from where the buses drop off, to the terminal.

Probably get the replacement bus service from St Georges Hall to Hamilton Square then taxi to the terminal if there no shuttle bus waiting.

Or maybe just a taxi from town to the terminal just to be sure

Easy do this. Wirral trains aren't running but rail replacement buses go from outside St George's Hall or Moorfields. Walk or soccerbus to Sandhills and take train one stop  to Moorfields and buses wait right outside. Alternatively get bus back to town  and catch bus to Birkenhead. Could even walk from Anfield to town though and still have time.
