They have found a vein of form, and are looking half decent going forward.

But both teams have won 3 of their last 4, and are unbeaten in 4.

Will be a test for us, but as long as we go there and play well, we should come away with the win.

Of course they play their best run of games this calender year just before they play us :no

They looked impressive last night but I'd guess it will be a very different team that starts against us.

3-1 to Liverpool.

Was just about to post the same. Fucking typical they are shite for 11 months of the year but when we play them they are one of the form teams.

A win please. :D

No easy games for us these days.

Let's hope they have an off day, and we finally have a good one.

Away trips in the Premier League are never easy. Even if they had not have picked up form, it would have been a tough game.

They have a number of pacy players that could cause us issues but hopefully we can come away with a win.

I wouldn't mind like the one that ended in 1996...4-3, just attack!

We can do this though. Hope Borini and Coutinho can both start. Time we give the lad his fair share of full games.

It will be a really close game. They're coming off their best performance of this season and will give us a game. Of course I am hoping for a win, but if they can frustrate ManCity away, they can probably frustrate us at home.

I think brendan has somethinking to do on this one.

manquillo and johnson were excellent agains swansea, does moreno come into the side or does he stick with it.

are we going to go 2 up top?? ballotelli got his goal and borini was excellent, do we go for it away from home? if not who gets the nod for lone sticker?

are we going 4 1 3 3 or diamond?  Gerrard sterling and henderson pick them selves. Coutinho has to start right?

we have not had a focal point in attack for a while, i would risk 2 up top and go with;

                                          mignolet

manquillo               Skrtel                     Lovren             Johnson.

                                         gerrard

                         coutinho              Henderson

                                        sterling

                               Balotelli       Borini

a bit brave maybe?

In a way it could be a good thing that they're in form. They won't be sitting back waiting for us to break them down. If we can get the first goal I'd be confident of a win.

If we play well we should win it, simple. :)

I liked Toure + Lovren in the league cup and it might be worth keeping the same back four as Tuesday night. They looked good together, and Johnson had a very tidy game at left back - though he seemed to have sat back and defended while Manquillo had a bit more license to get forward.

Gerrard is coming in for this one, I think, almost certainly. Henderson and Coutinho deserve a start in the middle three.

The top three are pretty easy: Sterling, Balotelli, and either Borini or Lallana.

Hopefully we find a bit more cutting edge, but we're starting to look like more of a unit. I think we'll win this one.

Let's not start talking ourselves down again before a match. Form or no form, this is Newcastle we're talking about.

They'll raise their game like every team does when we play them. They're still fucking shite though.

I want to see us give them such a hammering that Pardew is sacked at half time.

Thought we were at home for this one. Need to focus on this one, and forget all about Madrid. Pardew has managed to get good game plans against us in the last few years (apart from the 6-0) and now they've got a bit of form, the crowd won't turn on them so quick.

After last weeks dropped points, we can't afford to do the same tomorrow. Agree that Coutinho should start, hope he can be a good influence on the game and that Sterling will be fresher for his rest.

They aren't shite they actually looked quality against city. That lad Rolando Aarons is as quick as they get if he gets a run out he could cause are centre backs some problems. I would keep Glen Johnson on for this game he had a great game against Swansea. I hope Balotelli gets his first perm league goal for us! Prediction 2-0 Liverpool (Balotelli & Gerrard).
Seen us win everything

I've always found away at Newcastle to be a one-sided game but never the same side so we're as likely to batter them as they are us.

It's never close so it'll be 3-1 to someone.
