Anyone who's local- a few years back when Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez signed- the market stalls just outside Lyme Street station (by Sports Direct and Tesco, near L1) were selling horrendous Carroll and Suarez T-shirts. Awful they were, just a red shirt with a bad low-res image on them. My mates bought me one as a laugh after Carroll's ignominious start. Definitely the worst piece of unofficial tat I've got.
Had this image on it.
“Seeing these smiling faces is the greatest pleasure. They have been magnificent all season. They have been our 12th man. I have always said our fans are the best in England. Now I know they are the best in Europe too.” Rafa Benitez

I remember buying, years ago, a tshirt from one of the fellas outside the Kop, probably cost me about £4 at the time and must have been around 1987/88.

Although it was one of them cheapo's from outside the ground I thought it was funny as fuck with its comment on the front.............

Wasn't that an actual training shirt? Seen that in a few places.

Bit of a weird one this, can't find any info at all on these, have tried twitter to no avail. A mate of mine gave me them recently, her uncle was a sailor and collected hundreds of miniature drinks (literally hundreds, loads of different types) and i spotted these in a box, she gave me them last week cos she said she'd probably get pissed and drink them  ;D

Anyone know where they're from, or when they're from?

Not Lfc related, but relevant sort of tale. About 10-12 years ago me and a few lads were playing footy outside, dead nice day. One of our mates had the 1997-99 Newcastle home shirt, with the brown-ale sponsor. He'd gotten it from the car boot sale, which was pretty common up here back in those days. The shirt was in pretty good knick and to the naked eye it looked fine. Anyway it was a hot sunny day, and as he went to take a shot with his back to us, the sun caught his shirt and illuminated (kind of) the back of his shirt, and we saw a number 9, which was a bit wierd cause this shirt had no name or number on....or so we thought. So, assuming it was an Alan Shearer shirt, we went in for a closer look....

...It was indeed a number nine, but this was no Alan Shearer shirt....the number read nine, but the name read....CLAIRE. Needless to say we fucking fell about laughing and what had been a good game of headers and volleys degenerated into a  tsunami of laughter tears. We called our mate Claire for years and we never did see that shirt again. :'(

I've got the same one as well. A friend of mine bought it for me from a stall during a street festival here in Toronto.

Gitch.
Correct. Your prize is a lovely pair of "Eee-aye-addio" boxer shorts, mid-80s vintage. Recently found in a box after we moved house. Thinking about it, they might have been "official" and are therefore imposters in this thread.

My lad's just landed in Toronto, his luggage hasn't. ???
Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns
"Come in", She said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I might be in!

Can't find a pic of it anywhere - but the first LFC thing I ever owned was a red mug that had a dead-eyed latex gerrard face erupting from the front of it...
