Clubs out on the pitch, Lucas wearing the captains armband and we are fielding a young side but with some fire power.

3' Spurs are pressing us and choking off any possession that we may have had in the early minutes. Alexander-Arnold looks sharp thus far and Stewart has a go at goal, over the bar. Promise of youth and of Melwood.

5' Alexander-Arnold looks to be caught out but he closes the distance but falls to what looks like contact with his face, unintentional it seems. We build again and the Fields of Anfield Road rings out.

9' We are passing the ball around nicely and the ball is carried, then deflected back to the Reds, quick pass into the feet of Sturridge and he does what he does, ball in the roof of the net. 1-0. UP THE REDS!

12' - Spurs with two quick attacks down the middle into dangerous area in the box. Migs deals with the first and Lucas does the 2nd off the attackers foot.

16' Jansen plays the ball back and Spurs try to attack but they are foiled, a throw in leads to a cross which is well out of bounds.

18' Origi turns from way out on the wing and beats everyone, draws five players in the Spurs box, Danny Boy is out to his left in the box, Divoik passes to him, shot taken and it is weak... really weak.

20' Spurs cross the ball at the other end, Klavan clears but with the clearance Moreno waves an arm and a spurs player gets a touch of his hand to the face, goes down and free kick given, Alexander was not given one earlier... took their time with it, crossed to the far post but too high and the ball is away for a goal kick.

23' Moreno has a throw in deep in the Spurs half, throws it way back to Stewart near the half way line, and he miss hits, and Klavan can not regain it. Spurs throw and they build again. Lucas is not giving Jansen time on the ball. Good Lad Lucas.

27' Origi looks to have been fouled, ref ignores it, but we lose possession for a moment while Moreno runs down and wins it back, and there is a clash of heads, as two players eyes on the ball collide noggin to noggin.

36' Corner to Liverpool, Moreno fires it in and it doesn't even reach the first man.
It would be easier to just reuse Corners and let our opposition have a GK
