Better than Barnes, Beardsley, Kevin Keegan, McDermott?
Interesting concept.

Everyone knows...no one is better than Barnes!

Too fucking easy. West Brom are 2 nil down and they still have 11 behind the ball. A couple more in the first 10 minutes and ease off for the rest of the game. Who's next? Line them up.
They make it look so easy. Those goals though were plucked from obscurity and under tremendous pressure to put West Brom to the sword- and they truly are great, great goals. Just the sort you need for games likes this.

But he'd make the shortlist

Firmino, Coutinho, Mane and Lallana are the new Suarez (and by that I mean they are as good a front four that I have seen for years).

Great first half of football. Shame about the empty seats.

And before anyone says anything, I'd be there if I could afford it right now.

Are there many empty seats?  :o

? What

There have been a few "It's over. Who are we playing next?" posts. Just saying that we are better off saving that for the final whistle.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Next goal is key...

Game over if we get it...

West Brom must be better in the second half?

Maybe that would favour us.

Coutinho is looking like he is making the jump from potential into the truly world class player we all knew he would become. Not many players in the world I'd swap for him.

Good. Klopp'd need to wash his hands all night if he shook hands with that charlatan.

A bit disappointing after being so dominant. We need to stop conceding goals from set pieces against teams that have nothing to offer than set pieces.

Well to be fair if we were to concede goals from set pieces Id rather it be from teams who practice them!

Phew

Deserved that regardless.

We need to stop giving away goals from corners though. The opposition know they always have a chance even if they are not in the game.
