It feels like people are queueing up to knock us down a bit if we don't win this. "Can't beat defensive teams", "no plan B" and all that. That's no real surprise I suppose, they've spent a few weeks since the Chelsea game building us up, so we all know what happens next. Obviously a certain manager has claimed we aren't all that and where he goes the media usually follow, so it's only to be expected.
I think a combination of having played a similar team on Monday, a few days working on a few things with those tactics fresh in the mind, the international break cobwebs being blown away and the fact the players shouldn't be as nervous as they seemed the other night means we should have a bit more success. Only concern is that Pulis has a decent record against us, but I'd like to think we've a bit more about us and are a different proposition these days.
It won't be the 10-0 thrashing Pulis and his shithouse tactics deserve though. Shame.
