Nearly ready to kick off at Anfield. Teams currently doing the usual pre match rituals.

Lovren seemingly missing out through injury and Sturridge back on the bench (think there was also a fitness issue there going off reports during the week).

3 - Coutinho misplaces a pass which ultimately allows Diomande to run right at the heart of our defence - Milner comes across to put in a tackle and we regain possession.

4 - Huddlestone caught in possession in the middle of the pitch by Henderson - good pressing by our captain. Hull very lucky there that Liverpool didn't manage to break away with Mane and Coutinho.

5 - Brilliant chance from the corner. Matip with a completely free header that he doesn't connect right with and goes well over. Great corner by (I think it was) Henderson.

6 - Yellow card for Huddlestone. He goes in high on Henderson with his studs showing. Definitely a fair yellow. Henderson back on his feet and walking gingerly but I think he'll be okay.

8 - Milner puts the resulting free kick into the box. It's headed away by Huddlestone but only as far as the edge of the box where Henderson hits it only the volley first time but it sails wide.

Just seeing replays now of a chance in the 9th minute (there was about a thirty second period where my stream dropped).. Coutinho had a tapped in which he should have put away. Just completely got his feet wrong and ended up prodding it towards the goal but it was easily cleared.

14 - Clyne was down for a moment or two there looking in pain. Clash of knees but he's up and at it again now.

27 - All us. Superb pressing to steal the ball off Hull in their own half, Henderson winds up a shot from 30 yards but rapidly blocked. We try some one touch stuff but it doesn't quite come off.

Hull don't have a moment to think on the ball.

Deliberate handball by Elmohamedy in the box and it's a red card.

Penalty, Milner slots it.

31 - All over them now, Coutinho plays in Firmino, he tries to square it but a desperate block sees it out for a corner which is cleared.

Could be a long afternoon for Hull.

32- Shots raining in, Mane could have had 2 in sixty seconds.

First an effort takes a huge deflection, looping over the keeper and onto the bar for a corner.

Short corner, Mane teed up again but he lifts his second effort over the bar.

34 - Replays of the Mane chances again.

We could score 5 or 6 here if we keep the intensity up. Hull have made change to keep some shape.

Corner to the reds. Play it around the box, Mane first touch not the nest but he gets another shot off, Marshall can save.

Now Wijnaldum with a hit from distance, the freedom of Anfield Road to thump a decent strike, pushed away. Hull under the cosh.

And the cosh proves too much. Hull look desperate as we play it around, such confidence in our attacking players.

Mane gets it in the box, looks for all the world like he should pass it out right but calmness personified and he rolls it into the opposite corner with Marshall stranded.
