If the FA decide to pursue punishment, Babel should consider countersuing for infringement of his free speech rights.

He looked better today, when he first came on, than I think he has done for a good long while. Just adding to the excitement.

I meant Babel by the way, not Webb.

On his performance he had a couple of nice touches early on, had a decent shot. Then really didn't see the ball enough considering he was on the pitch for 30mins, had like 1 miscontrol, 1 slip, 1 glancing header, a couple of passes and that was in really. He's had better cameo performances this season and better starting performances too.

I remember feeling the sense of excitement and hope when he came on and has his 1st touch speeding down the wing and then that shot, but was disappointed he couldn't really get into the game.

Given how hard the team worked today with 10 men and during this fixutre pileup I think it's almost certain there will be some rotation and maybe Babel, N'gog and Kyrgiakos will get a start against Blackpool.

Sure The King is going to give everyone a go with a clean slate, so I guess everyone deserves a fresh start.

I'd stick him on the right or up-front though, on the left his pace is negated by coming inside onto his stronger foot into the covering mids.

And the FA can fuck right off with their investigation

Yeah he started brightly and was straight in the thick of it, But he seemed to drift up front thought it would of been better for him to be stuck on the wing and try get at there fullbacks like he did when he 1st came on

Hope he gets a chance under Kenny as he 1 of the few players we have that likes to take people on!

The thing I find interesting about it is that its obviously not just us fans who think he is biased, Babel isnt going to be alone in thinking or saying it, he's just voiced publicly what fans have been saying for ages and clearly players as well. If anything it should put Webb in a tight position, he shouldnt be allowed to ref man u games again if this suspicion is hanging over him, its now so blatent that players believe in the bias as well, if even one player believes it then he cant effectively do his job.

They'll say its bringing the game into disrepute.
There wont be an investigation, it will be calling into question a refs integrity. If they investigated they would find that there was some truth to it, that Webb is biased to man u, particularly at Old Trafford, they cant risk that, so it will just be a charge for Babel and told to shut up and not do it again. Standard charge that others have been done for, should think he will get a fine and have to apologise.
I wouldnt though if I was him, fuck em, a fine, go ahead its fucking pocket change. I'd carry it on and say the stats dont lie when it comes to his performance, he is consistently biased to man u, I'd make sure that baldy twat doesnt ever ref another match for them, that every time it was on the cards this is what would get brought up, making it impossible for him to do it or if he did he would have to be a draconian bastard with the rule book over them so that no one could claim he was dodgy, which would be fun to see.

In all likelyhood though Babel will be a good boy and say sorry, I'd wait in that case if I was him, he isnt going to play in this country forever, soon as I was out of their reach I'd do a facetwatter splash calling them for everything telling the truth and fuck them, let them come and get me if they think they can.

Unless you're talking about John Ogden, then I think you may be misintepreting the situation.  Ferdinand wouldn't use 'make sure' as it wouldn't make any sense.  But still it's shocking that there are people that still resort the things like that. disgusting.

Point stands but in fairness, he never said that.  Someone else tweeted that to him.  He probably should have deleted it but who knows, the copy paste might have happened just a minute or so after it was posted and before it could be deleted.  While I hate the twat, the person in question here is the other twat who tweeted that to Ferdinand.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Gets on my wick more than anything that. Being the lowest form of c*nts possible, even for them, live on fucking telly and not a fucking word gets said. But babel rightly critisises Webb and suddenly there's an FA investigation.

And people wonder why there's such fucking hatred between the clubs now.

Any one of us posts that its fine.........but he does represent LFC, he's a professional footballer and if you cannot say that in a post-match interview you shouldn't put it on twitter.

So that makes him a bit a cult figure with us fans, and if the FA fines him he should give some wonga to charity and have done with it.

Personally, would still like to see him do much more on the fuckin' pitch before he's a cult hero for me.

Just shows the abyss-like divide in class we are to those the Mancs peasants! They couldn't come up with a decent terrace song even if it was passed down to them by their poor toothless alcoholic mothers just before they went out on the job! Such a shame their success has spawned such ramblings from all associated, but then with a mad, drunken, impudent fool with a face like a pack of Danish continuing such ramblings; you can understand why there is no class across the east Lancs road.

Looking back over yesterday in the Twitter-verse, Ryan wasn't the only one who was pissed off.

Jeff Stelling: "Howard Webb's the ref for the game. There's united's first goal sorted."

Chris Mavinga: "One of the best referee.. ?! humm ok !"

Then there were the tweets from Aldo, Paul Dalglish and Linda Pizzuti.
