I'd let you have Carrasco. He should really be picking up a forward position, played there enough. Considering they gave Felipe Anderson a rb position after playing on the right of a 3-5-2....
Don't think you'd part with young players for him though

No, not the ones you would want anyway. I was happy to pay over the odds for Jesus but I'm tearing the squad apart gorgeous 1 player at this stage.

Tah and Oblak for Bale and Buffon when all their bans are up.

No going back now. It is announced and so it is so.

Good deal for Leeds that.

I swear every deal I do is like 'good deal for the other chap' :D

Looking at it, I get Buffon for 6-7 seasons, and have the possibility of a Bale-Griezmann-Kross front three, or a MEGA-SPINE if I play them in a big line down the centre (and sign a big CB). Thinking short term really, the heavy hitters should get me promoted. Whatever follows is a bonus!

Actually, it's medium term. Sexy pragmatism on show.

I think it's good for both of us.

I needed younger players and to reduce my wage bill, as I have a very old & expensive team in terms of wages.

You get players to improve you for a fair few seasons.

Win / Win.

I'm just looking at it from my point of view, I like the longer term project. It makes complete sense for you though, it should bring success which is probably the aim of the game for most.

Same here really, though because I've got the long term project going with the twentysomething dream team at Shaktar, I figured take a different approach here.

Speaking of which I might sell Salah, if anyone's after a Salah.

A good season for us at Valencia. Got promoted straight back to Division 2 and the Cup was a nice little achievement.

Looking to change the team a bit so that we can get promoted to Division 1. Got a couple of good offers in PMs. Looking forward to the new season.

In search of a 90+ CB or possibly a RB. The Portuguese Cafu Semedo, Italian stallion Bernardeschi or even 'needs no introduction' Firmino could move for the right player.

Nice trade that, must be the biggest we've seen in this world so far. Make sure the fax machine is working Betty, I'll definitely be pestering you for Mane/Coutinho in a couple months time  :D

Dresden getting their off-season transfer business sorted nice and early. Nothing too spectacular as we're still fairly broke, but we've managed to bring in some exciting young talent to keep building around Messi.

The pick of the bunch is Swedish gem Sead Haksabanovic, already scoring outrageous goals in the pros at 17. Lucas Torreira should provide a nice return on investment at 2.8m. Touted for a summer move to Roma, Monchi knows! Jordi Mboula's more of a long shot, should probably have held off on him while he's still playing youth football but I couldn't resist the hype for just 360k. Our final signing of the off-season is Lyon's little genius Houssem Aouar, the French market has served me well in the past so here's hoping he follows the trend!

Going the other way, Angel Gomes joins Independiente who had an option on him from the Can-Vallejo trade. Would've rather held on to him as a long-term investment, but 600k for a 16 year old Manc I signed for 160k isn't the worst business. Also sad to see my guy Quaresma go, but he's lost his spot in the starting XI to Totti and with Mbappe also rising fast I'd rather take the cash.

Not got much more room to manoeuvre until the TBs start expiring again in a month or so, but I could trade Locatelli if anyone's interested.

Doesn't look like it. His team will become available after 30 days of not logging in. On 20 days atm. Not sure why it says March 30th.

If you click on the team page it says 20 days.

But if you go to messages - then managers.  The last time he was online it says 30th March.

I feel a bit guilty for winning the charity shield, given I rest my entire XI (except for Buffon) & I got battered during the game by the looks of it.

I thought my players conditioning would get affected for the league, so I didn't want to risk that.  Seems I was wrong on that too.

Maybe when the league starts that will reduce for those that played.

Had a couple of very timely rises ahead of the new season! Henrichs 88 & Dembele 90. Thought it'd be another few weeks until the reviews got under way so that's a nice little bonus right there. Going to need all the help we can get this season coming up against the juggernauts of Div. 1.

Loads of TBs expiring in a couple weeks as well. My tradey senses be tingling!

They took the piss a bit with the German reviews. Won't complain though :D
Kimmich and Weigl getting 91s, Goretzka getting a 90, Sule and Christensen getting 89, Meyer rising and getting a forward position ;D Dahoud to 88, and Soyunku to 86. Been very very nice. Improves the squad value too

Half expect the other leagues to suck arse now though

385m squad value now, someone stop him! ;D

Just about managed to huff and puff my way back up to 300m squad value. Dropped as low as 270m at one point! Those trading shenanigans are gonna catch up with me one day.

Had to resort to buying a couple players based solely on their values...that Landry Dimata kid looks as average as they come but should be due a nice rise after bagging 14 goals this season. All I see is dollar signs!

:D space of two little seasons and an 85mil rise in value. Not bad. Two seasons in this is half a season in the other one! Cruise control

If i thought Dembele would have got a 90 so soon, i probably wouldn't have traded. Still, expecting a nice bump for Bakayoko out of that one. Could get a 90, 89 more like it though

Think he'll get 90, especially if Monaco seal the Ligue 1 title. He deserves it anyway. I'm not a big fan of this new 2 reviews per year thing, but the plus side is that we see some hefty rises when they finally get round to it. We had some really generous rises in January as well.

Welcome, you’re going to love it :D

Most of the top players have already been snapped up so you’ll be at a disadvantage in that sense. This is still a fairly new world though and all of us are still broke (apart from Scrooge McLawnmo over here!) so you’ll see excellent players getting sold all the time….C. Ronaldo, Lewa and Alexis Sanchez recently to name just a few. So just keep an eye on the transfer list and you’ll build up a good team in no time. You can also trade your way up if you have a good eye for a player!

Any other questions don’t be afraid to ask. Oh and don't bid higher than a player’s minimum value unless you’re competing against another team! New managers always do that for some reason, myself included.
