Does anyone know what percentage of the ground away fans are entitled to in the EL?

10% is it?

Does anyone know what percentage of the ground away fans are entitled to in the EL?

10% is it?

Reading it online I see 5%:

14.05 All clubs in the compilation must make at least 5% of the total capacity of their stadium available exclusively to visiting su pporters, in a segregated, safe area. In addition , visiting clubs are entitled to purchase up to 200 top-cat e g o r y tickets (unless other w i se agr e ed bet w e en th e t w o clu b s in questi on) for their VIP supp orters , sponsors, etc. (see Articles 16 a nd 23 of the UEFA Sta d i u m Infrastructure Regulations a n d A r t i c l e 1 9 o f t h e UEF A Safety and Se curity Reg u lati ons )

So we get at least

Schalke: ~3900
Dortmund: ~3300
Ajax: ~2700
Vilarreal: ~1200
Bilbao: ~2600
Braga ~1500
Prague: ~1000
saint etienne: ~2000
Augsburg: ~1500
Belgrade: ~1600
Brugge: ~1450
Groningen: ~1000
Malmo: ~1300
Vienna: ~2500
Liege: ~1500
Guimaraes: ~1500

Just a rough estimate on some of the interesting teams we can face, excluding the tickets lost for segregation and stewarding. Not quite close to the 3700 we got from Real in most cases, but most shouldn't be too difficult IMO. Prague, Ajax and Vilarreal aside.

Now watch us get shite Russian/Kazakhstan teams that nobody can go to

At present we could get Slovan Liberec (could change I know) but they only have 9900 - so wouldn't that be 495 for us

Yep, although a quick google seems to suggest they only get 4-5,000 home fans every game so maybe they'd give us more

Potential pots for next week... I've guessed some teams from the current scores of the first leg and it is very much subject to change.

Those in red are already confirmed in the Group Stage. Green is the Champions League teams who will drop into the Europa League group stage and Blue is those in the Europa League Playoff Round.

Very helpful mate. Thanks for putting that together.

No worries. As I say it will still probably change a little bit as I'm not sure if Southampton will beat Midyjtlland away and Lazio are 1-0 up away at Bayer Leverkusen next Thursday for the 2nd leg so that could change but it's the best I can do for now!

That is mental. I'd imagine they lose out on some customers so if the prices go up purely due to people checking things out. Joke.

Fact.

I believe it's a sticky in the the do's and don'ts. Not easy of course but every click on a flight adds on to the next person's quote for a price....so try and think about it first.

They are clever/slimey/c*nts for that.

I have a feeling we are going to get Celtic, someone ex Russian many time-zones away and some side from up North...not Celtic North..further....lots further.

Dortmund, Prague and Bilbao...remains a distant dream.

Quote from: Rushian on July 28, 2006, 09:24:08 AM
With the Champions League qualifiers upon us can we ask posters to respect a common sense suggestion.

Everyone wants the cheapest flights. In excitement some post the details all over the web. This allows lazy bastards who haven't put in the groundwork to nip in and book these flights.

Also some airlines base their prices on the numbers currently viewing the details of a specific flight on their website so a huge traffic hit caused by a posting on here or any other forum in the immediate aftermath of the draw pushes up the price quickly screwing those trying to book.

If you've found cheap flights book them for yourself and your mates - contact other friends by IM or email if you know they're looking. Don't post them here for at least a couple of days.
