Looking at my history, there is no tag if as far as I can see to say I got it with TC so not worrying.

I think some think they might still use the EL credits not Basel as that is what the original club info said but personally I reckon it'll go on Basel first, as has been the case before.

That's my problem mate, just not knowing what they're going to do in the TO.

After the problems I had in Athens without a ticket I vowed never to go again without being certain of a ticket.

Probably will get a ticket but would like to know for certain

MODS....hope this is ok or please delete..... :wave :wave

Booked and paid for a hotel in Madrid for 2 people for 2 nights ( Mon 3rd /Tues 4th nov ) , had to rearrange plans so not staying over now and they wont let me cancel, if anyone wants to have the hotel drop me a pm, cost me £127, will let someone have it for £80, will forward confirmation email etc.

There is an option to change guest details in the 'manage you booking' part of the email, booked through Booking.com, so you just have to remove my name and ad your own.

Hotel is called Fransisco I, in Madrid city centre.

All sorted for this one Dubai - Newcastle away - Malaga - Madrid - Barcelona - Liverpool for the Chelsea game - Dubai. Will get a ticket in our end full credits on the card. Must remember not to bring the Smirnoff this trip, Basel was a bit of a blur, falling over in the square, sleeping at the game + lots of other mishaps  :lickin

This was the selling notice in 2009 - not saying it'll be exactly the same details & criteria, as it was the last 16, but gives you an idea :

Couldn't sell it like this time due to the amount of time out of European competition I.E it will only go on Europa League and Basle before an All ST holder sale I would guess....

This is why I'm not sorting out any travel as I'm not sure of a ticket.  - Only Got Basel through TC - Not even convinced that this will count as a credit yet

Also this from the Basel ticket details

Tickets purchased for this match MAY count as priority for any future away matches within this competition.

So sitting tight and waiting

Well when I asked the TO on criteria this morning they said they had no idea how it would be sold, and had no idea if and when Basel would be used.

Flying into Barcelona and then onto Madrid, worked out at £140 for all flights which was loads cheaper than to Madrid direct.

We are doing: Stansted - Valencia, high speed train to Madrid and then the reverse coming back for around £80 :)

Yes pal..we looked at high speed train from Malaga into Madrid but the flight was about 15 euro cheaper at the time so decided it was easier just to hang around the airport for a couple of hours. Flight gets us into Madrid around 3pm, so very similar to arrival time if we'd gone via train. Flight booked via Iberia...no idea if it's full yet though.

I bought a madridista basic card on friday for 30 euros and bought 2 tickets together today for 85 euros each with my madridista number and my mastercard no problems.

when you buy tickets you connect with your madridista number and you can get more that 1 ticket with your madridista card and you can print them out yourself or collect at the ground. the first one has your madridista card number on it and the others have publico on them (no names on any ticket) so the extra tickets must be treated as general public sales tickets like the ones from monday will be.

had no issues with my credit card and there were no 50 euro tickets available near our allocation on the north stand tower D.
