BET 1 - IN.

Today's bet, £23.75 placed on Inverness to beat Morton, @ 5/6 with Hills.

BET 2- IN.

Tonights bet is £43 on  Edin Dzeko to score anytime @ evens with Hills.

The big man bangs one in 5 out of every 8 games, his height will scare the
living daylights out of Fulhams defenders, and to be honest i've backed him
single at 1st scorer, but for this bet it's anytime.
DON'T BUY THE  SUN.

Bet 4 - Mansfield to beat AFC Wimbledon at 2.25

This is getting a bit scary now never ever put £86 normally max is 20-30.

AFC are missing players inc their 2 main strikers and after a heavy defeat away to York and Nothing to play for I can see them crumbling again.

If this comes in I will be on Utrecht clean sheet

Bet 1 - Forest to beat Ipswich @ 1.97

Forest will want to finish the season strongly and maintain their brilliant home record. They are unbeaten in 17 matches on their own patch and have not conceded a goal at home in more than nine hours of football.

Great shout and value as you can get Sampdoria at 2.3.

Going by form, Genoa are in a real mess at the minute struggling to score let alone win and only scored in one of their last six away games.

According to betfair Sampdoria are unbeaten in their last 24 home games and Genoa are winless in their last 11 aways.

Think the value is there as it is a derby and because of that form can go out of the window. However Sampordia will certainly want to keep up the misery on Genoa especially as they are wanting to take control of 4th spot.

I'd happily follow.

I would have advised to steer clear as Genoa have had a very good record v Samp in the last few seasons
but Samp are one up at half time though Cassano.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Yeah I did think about that but sided with this bet because of the two sides form going in to the game and the fact that in this derby no team has won 4 in a row (Genoa have won the last 3). Plus Sampdoria desperately need to win this if they want to get in to Europe as they have AC Milan and Roma coming up in their next two games. So felt it was worth the gamble.
Although Sampdoria are 1-0, Genoa have been the better side since the goal and created a few opportunities including a disallowed goal.

I might just start posting all my bets on one of those blog things.

Helps keep track of where and how all your bets have got on (for P&L purposes) and all me mates moan when I tell em I've won a decent amount (you have to tell someone don't you?) plus the tips I do text seem to have lost more than won this season (I guess non-punters can't appreciate a cracking 11/10 shot and expect all the 6, 7, 8, 49 etc bets you text to always win).

Also I guess it's quite enjoyable having a paragraph to show for the last 3 hours you've spent researching corner stats in the Russian 3rd division. :)

I have a spreadsheet for my P&L, but I'll fire up one of these blogs soon for this challenge.

I agree with you about non-punters not appreciating value! A decent home shout at 11/10 doesn't exactly inspire them to rush off down the bookies.

Might as well post it in here...

Opened an account with Totesport at the weekend to place my Aintree Placepot and had just over a fiver left in it so decided to give this a go.

Bet 1: Sampdoria to beat Genoa £5.20 @ 2.2. WON - RETURNS 11.44
Bet 2: Benfica to beat Sporting AND Overs in Chelsea/Bolton £11.44 @ 2.26. LOST

Got a bit greedy in the end trying to enhance the odds, but that's easy to say in hindsight.
Saying that though, Bolton should have had a stonewall penalty and Joe Cole missed a sitter at the death.

Take 2 after my first poor attempt.

Bet 1 £10 on Over 2.5 goals in Altrincham v Stevenage

Stevenage have been banging in the goals away from home in their last 5 aways averaging over 2.5 goals a game themselves while Altrincham are capable of getting a goal and will be welcoming back Chris Senior, their top goalscorer.
Altrincham have two games in hand on Luton (this being one of them) and will be wanting to ensure they get all 3 points to take full control of top spot going in to the last couple of games of the season.

Attempt number 3  :-\

Bet 1: £10 on there being more goals in the second half in Arsenal v Man City @ 2.06

I'm expecting a tight first half affair with both teams opening up in the second half, helped by the introduction of Adebayor in the second half.

This would have come in in the last of Arsenal's five home games four times.
