No way.

The original is granite. Have you priced granite out?

That may be the additional cost for a replica and the replica won't be granite.

It's the price from here mate... https://anfieldforever.liverpoolfc.com/index.htm

Yes use to work with in kitchens. Those are the prices.
You can get a bigger granite chopping board for a tenner.

What an opportunity. Only £500 to buy FSG a paving slab. The cost doesn't matter though because you don't actually get to own anything.

From their website.

Ownership of stones installed within Anfield Forever development will remain with us at all times and as such we shall determine the specific location of each and every stone, undertake the installation and maintenance of the Products thereafter.

We reserve the right to move, relocate or permanently remove or destroy the Products at our discretion

Sent them an email see if there is anything else I can buy them. Wonder if we could all chip together and buy JWH a new yacht, he might even let us write our names on the side.

From 2011.......i've added in the conversion rate. I'd suggest ours might be higher 5-6 years later..

£60 - 200mm x 100mm
£99 - 200mm x 200mm
£499 - 400mm x 400mm

That's a bit of a jump from £99 to £499 to double in size!

It's going to cause massive problems when people don't have their surnames.  I know 4 Dave's and 1 Alison who went to Istanbul.  All 4 Dave's are claiming it's their brick but Alison's denying everything.

£60 - 200mm x 100mm
£99 - 200mm x 200mm
£499 - 400mm x 400mm

Price comparison:

"The single Goodison Granite can feature a message of 15 characters per line on two lines and costs £50, whilst the double Goodison Granite at £99 can house any one of the 11 crests that have adorned the playing shirts throughout the Club's history to feature alongside a message of 15 characters per line on three lines. The celebration Goodison Granite costs £399 and can feature any crest alongside a message of 23 characters per line on three lines."

Those going for the biggest brick can save a good £100 by having one half a mile away.

I've got loads of good memories of being in the arl Park End.

Seriously considering "5-0 Rush got 4, November 82"

or "25 times - Ian Rush"

Well worth £50.

Why Granite though?

Do FSG have a secret mining operation that we do not know of?

I thought Arsenal had already signed granite?

First time I've seen the giant leap from granite stone messages to full on theme park.

Even for some of the more seasoned moaners on here that would be a stretch.

£60 - 200mm x 100mm
£99 - 200mm x 200mm
£499 - 400mm x 400mm

You got it correct.

However, the Red Sox pricing included the replica.

Here's the pricing with the replica stone:

£60 - 200mm x 100mm + £48 for the replica stone and £20 for UK shipping = £128

£99 - 200mm x 200mm + £79.20 for the replica stone and £20 for UK shipping = £198.20

£499 - 400mm x 400mm + £399.20 for the replica stone and £20 for UK shipping = £918.20

Not sure what International shipping charges are.

Yes I posted the replica prices too, The small size of each one and they are probably only going to be about 30mm thick so not expensive to produce.

Here's shipping:

Replica Delivery Costs
•UK Address - £20 per stone.
•EU Address - £60 per stone.

Remarkably those are exactly the same prices as the West Ham ones and exactly the same shipping costs as the West Ham ones. https://www.championsplace.whufc.com/help.htm

It's almost as if they have sub-contracted out the job and you are receiving generic crap with a LFC logo on.

Shouldn't the question be why rinse people selling them over priced crap in the first place. It is bad enough buying crap that you actually own but the mugs buying FSG a paving slab for the walkway that FSG own and can destroy if they want is just profiteering of the worst kind.

Here is a novel idea how about instead of paying £500 for a £100 piece of granite why doesn't the Club have a share issue and give the fans a chance to buy shares in the Club.

So how many slabs have FSG destroyed at Fenway Park?

Just because companies/clubs cover their arses with fine print doesn't mean something like destroying a slab happens.

Imho, there are two reasons they might destroy a slab.

One, something gets through the censors and people notify them of something offensive.

Two, the club builds a new stadium say down by the docks. They may elect not to transfer the stone. Then again, they may keep them there if that area's redevelopment allows. But they can't guarantee something unforeseen.

They aren't going to though, but this isn't really the thread for that chat.

Come on now Al, you're not stupid and you know these two things are exceptionally different.

They are rinsing people because they are selling the items at way above their true value. Have a look at what a similar slab costs from a stonemason and the mark up is obscene. As for the choice of buying one or not what about the people who buy them as gifts for other people.

The interesting bit is why you think buying a share or two in Liverpool pre H&G and buying a slab are so different. For £500 a Dortmund fan can buy around 160 shares in his Club. He will own a part of the club, have a voice, have representation and above all he will be able to sell on his stake if he wants.

Buy a slab for Henry and Co and you own absolutely nothing, have no voice, no representation, have nothing to sell on. Indeed the only people who can sell your slab are FSG. Think about that for a second all the people who become all moral when perspective new owners are mentioned, if FSG sell to new owners they will be selling your slab on as well.

Furthermore according to the t's and C's the only way you can get your slab removed is if they have spelt the inscription incorrectly.

Your right they probably wouldn't destroy a slab, why do that when they could auction it off and make a few quid.  :D

What a crock of shit, they could let you pay for your season ticket and then revoke it as its their property but they don't.
