It's not a thread about who are the best players though. It's a thread of which players you'd have liked to have seen play for Liverpool.

Similar result though, are there many current players that you’d absolutely love to see in our current side? There are players we can/will sign to improve the squad, but even the most ludicrous suggestions (Mbappe, Bellingham etc) are a pretty steep drop from the likes of Ronaldo, Pirlo, Zidane etc. Maybe it’s nostalgia and the difference between comparing a players whole career to current ability.

Why do Liverpool feel they are the only team to have been wronged by them? We were the one they poached players from, Adebayor, Toure, Nasri, Clichy, Sagna, when they were really cooking the books. They took our place in top 4, they took Utd’s place at the top of the league. It was our crest on the letter pushing for FFP. So yeah, it’s been Liverpool in recent years, but they’ve been more than a thorn in our side since the takeover happened!

Nobody thinks we're the only team to have been wronged by them, but getting opposition fans to see that has been difficult, as they've been busy cheering for Man City to "save football" any time we've been close to them.

The opinion of some, is that if a club like Arsenal gets diddled, it might stop becoming hilarious 'banter' for the rest of the country and they might actually take note of the fact that the Premier League has become a non-competition due to overt cheating.

Personally, I'd rather just see a proper club win it, but I can understand the sentiment.

I'm okay with whatever the club want to do with Nunez. I think he has done enough and is young enough to warrant another season but at the same time if they decided to move him on I would totally understand why.

Pretty much where I am with it. Done some good things and done some bad. If Edwards and co thought it's better to cash in now then I'm ok with it. If new manager comes in and believes he can get more from him - well I'm ok with that also.

Yeah, I reckon I would too although I do think two defenders are required - a CB and a LB. But would be happy with just one midfielder and attacker, depending on who leaves.

If Salah leaves then Id want two attackers, minimum. I think Robbo is good for a year but I have always stated that we should be looking to have some genuine, first choice competition. But I think we should be looking for top quality or a clear pathway to top quality and that isnt cheap, which is why 3 should be prioritised.

My Mrs is Dutch, and based on my experience with her I can confirm that the Dutch make terrible football managers.

I mean, she doesn't even understand the difference between the league and a knock out competition.
