You can just tell that Klopp wanted to manage us. He wasn't just interested in the job. He wanted to manage Liverpool Football Club. He appreciates the culture of this club and the history.

Juergen Klopp has been Manager in waiting since July/August. Firminino was signed by the non- Rodgers side of the Transfer Committee on the recommendation of Jurgen.
It must now be fairly obvious that that his arrival has been a 'done deal' for some time, all of the negotiations to assemble his boot room team and agree his own deal cannot have been undertaken between now and 6pm on Sunday.
It sounds be very much that a demobilisation of Rodgers has been running in the background from before the time that he was requested to sack his assistanants, hence the offer to Gary Mac, where they will be feeling guilty about recruiting him, in the knowledge that it might just have been a for a short term.

I believe so. Can't speak for Dortmund fans though, but I know that for me, all three clubs have a bit of a similar feeling about them, it's hard to explain. But it's part of the reason why I like Dortmund and became a Liverpool fan. (Mainz being my hometown club.)

I'm still pinching myself!... I haven't been this excited for a long while, and somehow I have that calm feeling in my gut that everything now will fall in place. Similar feeling to when Rafa signed, although a bit stronger perhaps because the desperation is greater...
