There seems like there been a huge cloud hanging over the supporters since 2013-14. Once Brendan was gone, it was obvious that we needed to make an ambitious move to galvanise the supporter base. Based on what I'm seeing online and from match going friends in Liverpool it looks like the appointment has done that. I just hope all the auld arses give him a chance and find their voices at Anfield.

I'd argue that the cloud has been there since H&G started stripping the team and the eventually fired Rafa. We've been needing belief ever since. Even when Brendan took us on that magical journey, there were still problems. I believe in Klopp. I believe he can renew our faith.

If it wasn't Liverpool and someone came into a club that hasn't won a title for 25 years then promised one within 4 what would you say?

I don't think Klopp meant that comment to be about the league title. He just said 'title', which to a german could very well mean 'trophy'.
