For the best really. Shocked it's came so quick after the game. Bit harsh that. They could have waited a day or two.

I truly wish him all the best for the future.

Right decision, just a shame it's 4 months and £70m too late in my opinion. We move on.

Will be remembered fondly for 13-14 I guess, but overall we've probably gone backwards. Hopefully this will signal some big changes moving forward as the Liverpool of today is in a desperate rut.

4 months too late but it had to happen.

Correct.

Still feels weird, though.

Hopefully the personal digs from some will stop now.

No need for any negative swipes at the man who gave his best.

I sure hope FSG have someone lined up because if not this is gonna be a wild ride.

Hard Luck Rodgers, but it was inevitable.
At least FSG has shown a bit of decisiveness. it had to be now or start of of next international break to allow the new manager to assess the squad and plan for January transfer window.

Inevitable, bar a run from January to March we've had the form of a lower mid table team. Wish him the best of luck in future.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

Owners pretty much admitting they made a mistake in the summer. But i'm glad they've acted early enough to maybe salvage something from this season.

Good luck to Brendan. I don't begrudge him the opportunity he was given but he simply isn't good enough to do this job(yet).

I still think the money was well spent this summer. Benteke and Firmino are quality, as are Clyne, Gomez, and Ings. Whatever you think of Milner he was a great pickup on a free as well.

Big decision and ultimately the right one I think.
Didn't think FSG would do it just yet as they clearly backed him in the summer so fair play to them for making the big call.
Never seen him playing I think. But looks like a good player.

If we replace him with someone like Monk then the owners can fuck right off.
"I was pleased also with Peter Crouch. We have been talking to him, before and after his nose operation, to show more confidence with his heading.

"Now it seems to have worked. Lets say that if he has a few games without scoring again, maybe we should arrange to break his nose again."

Rafa.
