Didn't somebody on here say through the week that FSG are just waiting to get the derby out of the way and then giving him the bullet?

Amazed it was so quick.

Its the international break now though. Perfect timing for a change.

Not surprised. It's the right decision.

Brendan Rodgers - thank you for 13/14. Wonderful season, with a lot of joy. Best of luck in the future.

Madness. Should have been sacked in the window.

It's the right move. Brendan isn't good enough. But he should not have had the summer money.

You would suspect someone is lined up.

Had us playing the best attacking football in my lifetime but the failure to even remotely build on that has been damning.

Others need to follow as well. Ian Ayre has no place making any footballing decision from here on in.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Wow! I thought he would at least have guaranteed time until Christmas with our tough fixture list early on.

Thank you so much Brendan for everything you've done for this club. The 13/14 season was the best football I've ever seen Liverpool play and I hope he will have plenty of success as a manager.

A shame how it worked out. FSG have to get this next decision spot on.

Nope FSG have to appoint the right people who have the experience and nous to make the next decision.

A bit harsh, but the lynch mob always wins out in the end. The opportunity to finish top four is always constrained by the moneyed up clubs screwing up were not at that level anymore.
By the way, I should tell you that I haven’t had a chance to shower while making my way up here, my balls are extra vinegary.

Wasn't sure whether it was the right or wrong decision; I think he still had time to turn it around. But it definitely is a silly decision from the point of view that if they were this near sacking him they should have done it in the summer. I just hope the next guy hits the ground running. We still have more than ample time to meet our objectives.
