He's played 26 times for Everton this season, out of a total of 32 games they've played.

True, but mostly out of necessity. He's third choice to Williams and Jagielka, both of whom are currently fit.

Would love to see Origi redeem himself this game and go on some mad scoring run. Lallana's a big loss but perhaps Phil dropping deeper might waken him up.

While it's a blow Lallana is out, Can and Wijnaldum are in very good form. But who comes in for Lallana? Maybe Coutinho and then play Origi from start.

It is a possibility but it would suprise me. Klopp seems reluctant to play Moreno and with Lovren probably coming in, I'd be suprised if we'd see more chances to our back 4. If Henderson isn't ready to start, I expect Coutinho to come in the midfield and Origi out wide or up top.

However, I'd prefer a shift back to a 4231 with Can and Wijnaldum at the base, Coutinho and Manι on the wings, and Firmino just behind Origi. I think it would benefit our entire front four but is very unlikely I think.

Would like to see Coutinho in to midfield and Origi/woodburn to the wing/front three. Think we can still put out a good first 11, Henderson being back even for the bench would be a big plus.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense if henderson doesn't make it
I suspect if Henderson can run at all he'll start though - he's so naturally fit and seems to play when not 100%

If he's in full training by tomorrow I can see that happening, hopefully he's at least on the bench if ready to play a part.

Would love Phil in a midfield three but not sure whether he'll have the legs, given the travel from Brazil. Hopefully I'm wrong. Origi will probably start. Whilst a great prospect, I don't think Woodburn is ready for a derby yet.

Let's go all out and win it for Bugsy!

I'd be shocked to see woodburn start

then again remember Jordan Ibe in the derby a few years back?

I never expected that, he was brilliant, didnt he rattle the post too? mind you apart from netting us 15m we didnt get much out of him in the long run

He did indeed.

As far as a league start goes, Klopp will introduce Woodburn at the right time. I can't see it being on Saturday.

It's a pity Funes Mori is injured 'cause he's turbo gash and it would have been nice for our attack to destroy him given his antics last year.

i remember in a previous match kloppo mentioned something about avoiding too many switches.  So the switch involving Trent, clyney and milner that has been mentioned in the media is unlikely.

As is rushing Hendo back.

What I do remember Kloppo saying is that Firmino could play midfield.  Could this be the answer?  With Origi up top.

I feel like they were going to go 3 at the back with him, Jagielka and Williams playing. They have to go 4 at the back now. Jagielka and Holgate aren't great and Baines isn't that quick. They shouldn't be getting too much midfield protection either. We should have them even with Lallana out
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now

That is just not going to happen.

This might have already been mentioned, but why isn't it going to happen? It's well known that Ljinders had Woodburn as a 10 and TAA as a 6 - so it could happen. Maybe not the match to throw TAA in at 6 - but I'd wager he wouldn't let us down if he was given a go.

That match against Arsenal when we tanked them 5-1 by half time he was playing a deeper role and thrived. With them missing Coleman, McCarthy, Schneiderlin its a perfect opportunity for Coutinho to play deeper and pick out any of the front three and all the space.

Firmino loses the ball too mich to be playing in midfield imo. I think the best option if Hendo is not fit, is to utilize Coutinho in Lallanas position and have Origi or Woodburn in Coutinho's. Klopp will try to minimize the amount of changes he has to make, Trent in midfield is too risky for a game of this magnitude, its not the time or place to try this now

I like the idea of Coutinho taking Lallana's position on the right of the middle 3 and Origi playing on the left of the front 3. The change might be good Coutinho and we'll retain the ability to turn on the ball in middle of the park and Origi likes coming in from the left anyway.

god I hope not.

I still don't trust him in the slightest, despite the fact I've barely seen him play all season (obviously :D ).
