Bet 1. Monaco to beat Garcia-Lopez @4/11 100 returns 136.36
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Don't say things like that, it makes me want to carry on.

My plan is to get to 2k, bank half of it and carry on. I know all this only came from £100 and all that but I feel that it's starting to build up to too much to not bank it.

Bet 1: £100 on Tipsarevic to beat Johansson @ 2/5 (in play with Tips a break up in the first set) = £140
Bet 2: £140 on Birdshit to beat Tursunov @ 4/9 = £202.22
Bet 3: £202.22 on Nadal to win 2-0 (Set Betting) @ 1/3 (in-play, end of first set) = £269.63
Bet 4: £269.63 on Roddick to beat Benny @ 1/4 (in-play, *3-3 15-30 on Roddick's serve) = £337.04
Bet 5: £337.04 on Jankovic to beat Dementieva @ 1/5 (in-play, *5-1 JJ in the first set) = Bet Cancelled (Dementieva retiring at 1-6, 1-3, *0-30)
Bet 5: £337.04 on Nadal to beat Blake @ 1/2 = £505.56
Bet 6: £505.56 on Serena Williams to beat Kuznetsova @ 2/5 = £707.78
Bet 7: £707.78 on Nadal to beat Birdshit @ 4/7 = £1111.93
Bet 8: £1111.93 on USA to beat France (Davis Cup) @ 1/7 = £1270.78
Bet 9: £1270.78 on a double of Karlovic (@ 1/6 vs. Machado) & Ferrer (@ 1/8 vs. Navarro) @ 1.31 = Bet Cancelled (Karlovic retiriting at 4-6, 0-1*)
Bet 9: £1270.78 on Ferrer to beat Navarro @ 1/8 = £1429.63
Bet 10: £1429.63 on Ferrer to beat Andujar @ 1/6 (in play with the score *3-3 in the first set) = £1667.90

Bet 1. Monaco to beat Garcia-Lopez @ 4/11 100 returns 136.36

Wholy I'd agree with those saying bank, or at least bank a significant amount and put it towards something so wil always have something to remember that run by!

Even if you only take a grand out leaves you pretty much where u were at bet7 again, and a massive bit of profit

As much as I am loving this thread and would LOVE to see you go on and do the 21.  I would say bank it too.  I would be a hyprociate (sp) to say otherwise as I would have banked after Bet 3.

Knapp, Verdasco, Almagro, Benesova and Davydenko were / are my bets for today but nothing to do anything on here.

Haase and Jankovic do though.

I'll have a head scratch and come back to this.

It's game over for me I think. Regretted making this bet since the first game of the match when Haase didn't break.

Haase can't hold his serve for shit so even if he does break here he won't hold next game.

I take solace in the fact though that if Jankovic loses later then 3 out of the 4 bets that I looked at for this today lost.

I've got an all green screen on Betfair though thanks to a bit of trading here and there but with regards to this challenge, it's  :wave.

Very poor quality match and I was anticipating that Haase would build on yesterday's win against Safin but evidently not.

Meh ... win some, lose some. Part of me hopes that Jankovic loses tonight now though.

Nice distraction this from my usual betting. Arguably should have banked but the value of hindsight.

Fancied Haase myself tonight, not sure what was up with him. His serve was so uneffective when normally it is pretty solid. Just the way it goes sometimes I guess.

I did make a bet last night on Almagro to win in straight sets @ 1/5. Shite odds but I thought it was a given. I had hoped to roll the £120 onto Murray (should Almagro oblige) but they've not finished yet so I've had to start a seperate one so I've got two on the go now.

*tuts*

Attempt A
Bet 1: £100 on Tipsarevic to beat Johansson @ 2/5 (in play with Tips a break up in the first set) = £140
Navarro) @ 1.31 = Bet Cancelled (Karlovic retiring at 4-6, 0-1*)
Bet 9: £1270.78 on Ferrer to beat Navarro @ 1/8 = £1429.63
Bet 10: £1429.63 on Ferrer to beat Andujar @ 1/6 (in play with the score *3-3 in the first set) = £1667.90
Bet 11: £1667.90 on Haase to beat Korolev @ 4/7 = Loss

Attempt B
Bet 1: £100 on Jankovic to beat Zvonareva @ 4/11 = Loss

Attempt C
Bet 1: £100 on Moya to beat Querrey 2-0 in sets @ 2/5 = Loss

Attempt D
Bet 1: £100 on Almagro to beat Lisnard 2-0 in sets @ 1/5 = Bet Pending

Gasquet to win today? A dead cert?

Is there any TV coverage?

I could have sworn that I backed Ferrer last night in both bets.

 :(

You'd think Gasquet is something of a cert. Querrey is usually dreadful on clay so I have absolutely no idea where this little run he's put together has come from. Gasquet likes it here in MC, semifinalist a couple of years ago as a qualifier and beating Federer on the way before taking a set off Nadal.

He's a very solid 1/6 shot, not a guaranteed 1/6 shot as nothing in this world is but he's almost near certain.

A nice bye to the next bet for you all!

Gasquet is the best player in the world to watch.

Yep, great last hour with O'Sullivan and Gasquet romping home.

Only one I fancy tomorrow is Davydenko.
Cant check the prices yet as in work.
