I don't see the point. (The Jam was about angry young men crying out for change, like us teenies were, now were all old farts and stuff, where's the energy gonna come from, and will it not sound a bit fake?)

Hi Claw - long time no speak :wave

After writing that god awful pun i did a quick BA Robertson google and discovered he was the genius behind Cliff Richards 'Wired for Sound'.  My Favourite Cliff track by a country mile.

(ps. Gollies aren't socially acceptable anymore so shhhhhhhhh)

Not all together pointless, i would certainly go and watch them if they were to reform minus Weller. I never got the chance to see The Jam as they split before i was born but have been brought up listening to them and Weller.

The rythm section of The Jam were great in their own right and Weller openly admits that he never told them how to play their own parts.

Saying that they are obviously not The Jam without Weller and I dont think they should be named The Jam.

Tickets have gone on sale at seetickets.com £15 for the liverpool academy will probably go even though weller won't be with them but I guess its a close as I'll get to seeing the real thing.

  • It's not much I know, but this is the best Barney could come up with at short notice. Too tight to buy his own cross-dressing gear. AKA 'Condomhead'. Has apparently had Elton John.

Luckly I saw them in September 1982 at Ingliston.

If Kenny Dalglish had simply played football for Liverpool he would be an Anfield hero. However, the fact that he managed the club to even greater success guarantees him the status of a legend.

I saw 'From The Jam' and they were excellent, so excellent I saw them 3 years running. Foxton is now the only original member left now, which is a bit sad, they're still good, though.
