It’s sad to hear about our favorite sports stars from the past reporting a bankruptcy and a sudden lack of cash in the bank, but these days, these highly-paid athletes have become incredibly shrewd with their paychecks thanks to proper advisement from some of the most successful businessman in the world. LeBron James, one of the highest-earning pro-athletes in 2011, bought in a minority stake of Liverpool FC after striking a deal with Boston-based Fenway Sports Group, and is projected to earn quite a profit from this investment over the course of the next several years. What do sneakerheads get out of it? A special edition colorway of the LeBron shoe donning the Liverpool FC kit colors of red and turquoise blue and the liver bird logo on the heel badge. With Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and even Kevin Garnett now owning stakes in European football clubs, will this be an ongoing trend for max-contract pro athletes investing their money on other pro athletes? Check out the detailed images of the Nike LeBron 9 Low ‘Liverpool’ below
Rafa made it so that you didn't give a shit which fucking ball emerged from Platini's jar.
Don't see the link. Oh and they are hideous.
Google messi topless on holiday. Now look at david silva, villa, iniesta, xavi, they have the upper bodies of little boys.
This looks like total bullshit to be honest. Nike wouldnt be able to release an LFC trainer whether it is Lebron James or not. There is no mention of anything LFC at all on the trainer apart from they are sort of red. They also have 18 'sort of' premiership trophies on the bottom. Load of nonsense.
To be honest, there is no way that Nike would be able to lease the Liverpool FC brand whilst Liverpool is still under contract with Adidas. Not a hope in hell.
[...]He should work for Sky.
Cry more you big fanny
Steady...Mike Bassett
if city win the CL or the prem league in the next 3 years, I'll eat my own poo.
Basically these trainers have nothing whatsoever to do with LFC. Some dipstick on a 'sneaker' website saw a connection between Lebron James and LFC and invented some news. He should work for Sky.
They look shit. But if some mug buys them and puts money in are coffers, well so be it.
