Starting a thread for this one, since the general sale is probably going to be up about a month or so and got couple of questions as well..

I've bought one ticket for this, but now I need 2 together, how can I return the one I have and can I then purchase again, if I have returned something ?

If I buy through general sale, will the tickets go on my cards ?

Is it possible for someone else to pick up your ticket or tickets at Anfield ?

If I buy 4 tickets through general sale and put them on my and my mate's member card, will we then recieve 2 paper tickets and recieve the credits on our cards ?

This is about Aston Villa sale

You can ring customer services to get a refund on the ticket you bought and then buy two more no problem. Or, keep the one you've got and you can still buy another in the general sale.

General sale is paper tickets I think and you still get credits so get them on both your cards.

Not sure to be honest, someone else might know, I've only ever done it by phone.

I had a membership card, but this year I haven't renewed it for several reasons...
Now, I booked a fly from Italy and i will be in Liverpool for my first time ever from 17 to 22 of January, but I'm really worried that I will not be able to find 2 tickets for this match.
The main reason why I arranged the journey is to finally watch a match at Anfield and i will be devasted if I will not be able to do so.

If you are online at 8:15 you might stand a good chance. This is an evening kick off so there might by some more tickets than normal in the general (it can vary significantly between games)

I've seen that for Liverpool-West Ham there were only about 450 tickets

It could be a couple of hundred like West Ham to anywhere near 2,000. It all depends on a lot of factors.

Together? Extremely slim. 2 pairs - possible and 4 singles - If you are quick enough when the sale starts you might get lucky

Don't be mate. General sales normally take place 3 weeks before the game so there should be an announcement then maybe the sale in the final week of December.

Also it says your members card will be active. I've only bought in the members sale for the last few seasons. What happens if you haven't renewed your membership like myself this season do they send paper tickets?

I desperately hope I get a ticket for this game,

I usually go to around 10 a season (home, away, cup combined and I'm on 5 this season) but my best mate is a Villa Season ticket holder, who's never been to Anfield and we both want to go up to this. I always go to the Villa Park fixture and sit in with the Villa fans which I usually cope with ok but there's no chance I'm going to sit with the Villa fans at Anfield so I've passed on the opportunity on his extra ticket in hope of getting one
