do you feel the jelly bean runs a bit "heavy"?  It seems my phone is accumulating a bit too much RAM memory too quickly and it makes the phone operate in slow motion.  My phone disk space (not USB) appeared to be almost phone even though there is hardly anything on it - I run most apps and pictures on SD card

Yes. There is a way in settings to turn a lot of these services which run in the background off. Might be worth a try. I hate the new update. Causes way too many minor freezes. Think you are right, it has caused ram issues. I need to move some apps onto my SD as my phone memory is showing red when connected to PC.

Guess it does feel a bit bloated.maybe a lil slower than original but in my case so far less crashes than ICS.wish there was a way of getting rid of all the bloatware too.they never listen though.

Overall though i prefer jelly bean 4.2 to ice cream sandwich.

I had the same,  it's the USB charging port, either full of dirt or corroded

if you are under contract, I take it that you have the phone less than 2 years?  If so, get O2 to check it under manufacturer's warranty. Those genuine looking battery off ebay are not always genuine and it fucks your phone more than it helps.  It could be your power circuit is damaged (regular problem with S2s) or something else

Ahh did that work? I occasionally get that issue. Might blow some cold air into the usb port.
