Just come back? He played in a match 5 months ago.

Good to see him back.
He's now the third of three very capable strikers waiting for a chance I'm the first team.
I think a year ago at times we barely had a fit striker.
It might take him a while to get fully fit, but with the goal potential we have there will be no pressure on him to overdo things early.
Still, I think he will get a good few games for us somewhere along the way, and I fully expect him to do bloody well for us.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.

Just come back? He played in a match 5 months ago.

He played his first minutes of first team action a month ago which, coupled with last nights appearance, totals 49 minutes of first team action in a competition where second string and lesser teams are played. So yes, the lad has just come back.

He looked faster than I thought he was last night, just looks tailor made to lead the line for us with that speed and pressing. Still reckon he will get a chance to nail a starting spot at some point and if he can finish chances then there is no reason why he can't do it. Seemed really pissed off he missed his one on one last night.

How was his pace ?

I was afraid that he might lose a bit of his pace after that nasty injury

Only really evident in his closing down but looked quite sharp.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored

Danny Ings ruled out for the season!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/11/02/liverpool-blow-as-danny-ings-ruled-out-for-rest-of-the-season/

Liverpool striker Danny Ings has suffered another devastating blow to his career with a knee injury ruling him out for the season.

Ings missed most of last year with a cruciate knee problem and was still working his way back to full fitness.

Now his hopes of breaking into Jurgen Klopp's first team are over for the rest of the campaign. He is undergoing surgery in London after picking up the latest injury during his side’s victory over Spurs in the League Cup last week.

Feel so sorry for him. Best role model for those U23 lads.

May not have made it under Klopp in the first team but no one can even challenge his commitment, every professional should aspire to have his passion for the game.

Just hope he comes back even stronger.

Did everything right to get back - that's just a crushing blow for him. He will be completely demoralised after working so hard to get fit again.

Unfortunately, I think it pretty much spells the end of his career at Liverpool too.

How much bad luck can one player have? Gutted for him - obviously worked so hard to force his way back into the first team and his attitude seemed first rate.
Only a matter of time before that Dutch prick pops up and blames Klopp.

different knee but the same type of injury mate. It's actually worse doing your second knee because that means both knees will never be 100% again. It's a disaster, I've done both knees myself and it's horrendous to get over.

Looked uncomfortable walking off the pitch tonight apparently? Had a concerned look on his face and seemed to be in discomfort.

Thought nothing more of this as it has been a week since that game and nothing was mentioned about any possible injury. Fucking c*nt of an injury, feel so sorry for the lad. How shit must he feel today?

Without wanting to be doom and gloom that is probably the end of him as the player he was or could have been. Back to back injuries that serious are fucking terrible and now both his knees are fucked. Wishing him a quick and speedy recovery!

Poor Danny, he's had the worst luck. Real pity to see a promising career ruined by these injuries. Best of luck to him, hope he can recover from this. Reminds me a bit of Jay Rodriguez
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close
