Fox, the absolute worst of America, but with more cameras and editing. I don't despise Fox for the way they offer their footy coverage, but it's not helping matters.

Despite how bad Fox is I still miss the Fox Soccer Report.  NBC only has the premier league shows and ESPNFC is tough to find or is on infrequently.  Fox Soccer Report was on every night and I use to watch it everyday.  It helped me keep track of what else was going on in other leagues.  That is completely lost with ESPN and NBC in my opinion.

Didn't like Fox Soccer Report and rarely if ever watched it. I preferred when FSC had Sky Sports News on.

Same. The 10pm airtime was very convenient for me as well. I like that Fox hired Ross Dyer. Think that's a step in the right direction.

At least Fox has been using the international feeds for our CL games.

ESPNFC has gotten a more regular schedule lately on ESPNnews, but they can no longer show highlights of La Liga, Serie A, or Ligue 1. Kind of defeats the point as I am more interested in highlights than analysis.

What prevent sky sports from offering its service streaming live to services like Roku, PS4, etc...?  I know there are work arounds with things like XBMC and what not but having something like sky sports available for purchase would be perfect.  I really don't care for many US sports so don't really watch ESPN, or, NBC when football is not on.

Broadcasting rights. For SSN, for example, they own the rights to show all the highlights, etc. in the UK. They'd need to go and buy the rights to show highlights in the US (or elsewhere), which would be VERY costly.

Ah, yes.  Completely forgot about that.  Forgot the Premier League makes a decent amount from international rights and having sky sports worldwide would under cut that.

I guess I need to find a way to make XBMC less buggy and more stable.

I think it just says FS+ because thats the channel that the multiview thing is on, and they haven't formally announced whether we'll be on FS1 or FS2 yet.

Yeah no need for panic that is what it always shows.
I am sure we will be on FS1 as it is one of the biggest games of the group stages.

OK question for anyone that knows.
Obviously our matches have been on TV so I watch live or recorded. When they are not on TV I usually watch them live on the NBC Sports app/website. My provider does not offer the overflow channels on a TV but does offer the Internet access.
However Saturday I won't be able to watch live. I see via their website they do have 'full replays' so in theory I can watch. Does anyone know when games are put there? Right after they are finished? A couple of hours later? The next day?
Obviously there is only so long I can avoid the result, so I'd love to just bookmark the page and get to it later Saturday, but if it takes them a while to get it up I'll just have to hMatch of the Day it.

This past weekend I was out most of the day Sunday.  I started watching the QPR match around 7 NY time.  My DVR (for some unexplained reason) had stopped recording after 24 minutes.  I went to my computer and the match was already up on NBCSN site and I was able to continue watching.

So I don't know the exact time it goes up, but it should be up by that evening.    Quality of the feed is very good also.

So if the Brits set clocks back Sunday morn, that puts the Man U-Chelsea game at 10am eastern instead of 11am eastern right?

When you use Live Extra (or whatever the hell the NBC replay thing is called) there's some setting that you can use that prevents scores from being shown.  If you're avoiding the result it might be worth checking out ahead of time if you can - maybe by using one of the earlier matches as a dress rehearsal.

I recently got Apple TV and don't know how to use it properly yet.  Can you access NBC Live Extra through Apple TV?  My computer is too old to sync with the Apple TV but I think I could use my phone if I need to.  However, if Apple TV has Live Extra all of my troubles will be over (as long as we give Fat Head a good walloping).

No spoilers on the NBCSN app.   Just go to the "full event replay".   Assuming you have an iPhone, get the app.  Start the stream on your phone when you are ready to watch the match and then AirPlay to the Apple TV.   You'll then be watching the match on your TV - assuming you have a decent wifi connection.
