RIP.

Funnily enough, I've never really watched Dr Zhivago or Lawrence of Arabia all the way through. So mainly remember him for his part in Top Secret!

I saw him in person about 7 years ago. His grandson attended the same British International school as I in Cairo and one day had come to see his grandson in a school play. Seemed like a very tranquil and humble kind of bloke as he let all the students and teachers take pictures with him. RIP Omar.

Really adored him in all his films, and one of my favourites was The Tamarind Seed.
RIP Omar.
