He runs dead funny.

It's like there's a white rabbitt *about so high* next to him, called Colin Harvey.

Don't know how to post gifs but it reminds me of Velma from Scooby Doo.

Good news about him signing.

Raheem Sterling set to sign new Liverpool contract, tying him to the club until 2020 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/11323776/Raheem-Sterling-set-to-sign-new-Liverpool-contract-tying-him-to-the-club-until-2020.html
I can imagine him watching the launch of the Mars 2020 rover in a Liverpool shirt (hopefully sponsored by Crown Paints ;))

Players like Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott have great pace but their final ball nearly always leaves a lot to be desired. But Sterling has delivered almost from the off.

It is a problem for fast pacy young players, they very often burst thru but don't deliver the final ball, but Sterling does. He can create chances and score. He 's tough as well, doesn't get knocked off the ball cheaply.

But what marks him out from others young players who have pace and control is that he has great purpose, awareness of other players, the ability to produce an end product.

This has been a hard season for Sterling, pressure from the off, had a slight wobble but he has come to terms with the pressure and fully deserves this award.

Apologies for going slightly off topic but what exactly constitutes 'value' in that list? I can't help feeling Sturridge is still criminally underrated by most people outside the club.

Looks like the new contract is happening very soon. So fucking chuffed, this kid is something really special and for me with adequate support he can easily match what Stevie achieved in a red shirt by the end of his career. We`re blessed to have him but he`s also blessed to be at a right club. Our future is bright with this kid leading the line of bright new talent we have at the club right now.

The really exciting part is knowing that he is going to grow up with Coutinho. Few years time, they are going to batter defences....absolutely embarrass them.

I think it's amazing that he can play all of these positions so well. It's like Stevie when he was twenty.

Should get started on Phil's too while they're at it.

What a player.

As weird as this is going to sound, he reminded me of Drogba tonight, even though Sterling is half his size. He was superb with his back to goal, and actually got the better of the Chelsea defence, Cahill in particular. When he develops his shot and finishing in the coming years - nothing wrong with the finish today though! - he'll end up being the best player in the league.

Hope it isn't true would be a massive massive loss of disgusting proportions. But considering he is one of our best players and one of our most important players in the team, his pay cheque should match that.i just hope we aren't being tight arses because he is young.

I'm not a fan of FSG but you've got to be careful with contracts for young players. Look at United giving Shaw ~£140k per week reportedly. By the time Sterling is 22-23 he's going to want a new contract, and if he's already on £100k+ he's going to be demanding a huge contract, never mind by the time he's 28

The United propaganda/PR machine reminds me of the Royal family's.  It's infiltrated every part of the media trying to reshape every story in favour of them and against their opponents.
