Henderson has a slight hamstring injury according to Roy. He wanted to play but Hodgson wouldn't risk him.

Anything more on this lads?

Was looking forward to BR (hopefully) playing Mario and Sturridge together at the weekend.

I find that last bit hard to believe. This is the same Hodgson who played Sturridge knowing he was injured.

Henderson needs a decent rest but we've got 3 games a week until January.

I heard Hodgson interviewed on Five Live and he did indeed say that he rested Hendo despite Jordan saying that he wanted to play.

Whether that's strictly true or not, he rested him, so that's the main thing!

Rodgers has done a good job as it appears at least the pressure he's put on Roy has had an impact.

What makes you think Rodgers is going to pick him even if he is ? Or will it be used as another stick to beat Brendan with if he doesn't pick a player, on his immediate return to injury, even though that player's last action - when fit - was to storm out of the stadium in a strop?

Yeah let's stick with Lovren how dare Sakho show his rage at being dropped for the calamity that is Skrtel.

Really? If anything it is Lovren who is in more danger from Sakkho than Skrtel.

I honestly can't blame Sahko for storming out, he was by far our best/most consistent defender when played, yet he just suddenly got dropped. He had every right to be annoyed, although i agree he could have had a quiet word with Rodgers instead.

Physio room has Sturridge down for 1st Jan 2015 return date.

Looks like our lack of a predatory striker is set to continue.

Thigh injury again, make you wonder about our physios and training for players returning from injury
