To be honest I thought there were less tourists than normal last night, but still like the fella above, plenty to spot.

They was one guy in his 40/50s who had a stupid fucking flag wrapped round him next to us in the Upper. No idea what the flag was it looked retarded. Defo wasnt LFC related. Rightly so he got bollocked

Last thing I want is for aways to get like the home games

Anfield is shite now because of these lot flooding the home games, praying aways dont get like this

Really enjoyed going to this, as I don't get to many.

Sad to see some half and half scarves in our end, and no idea why people throw shit on the pitch. Great atmosphere overall though.

How do 2 young Malaysians going there first every Liverpool game get tickets in our end legitimately?  Nice people,  but people with previous attendance couldn't get tickets,  so how come they could?

Usually fucking touts. Wish there was a way of stopping them

Saw one guy rip one of the banners hanging from the upper for no reason. Twat!

If it was HT in extra time it was me taking my own banner down.

Spirit of Shankly have just tweeted that if you witnessed or were caught up in the problems accessing the away end, to email them: chair@spiritofshankly.com or tweet them and they will look further into it.

Worth doing

The walk to the ground from The Courtyard pub was incredible. About 500 reds marching to the ground stopping traffic etc. Police having a nightmare.

Was in front of Alan Kennedy who was in our end....

Overall a brilliant away (bar the result).

I'm pretty sure the volume control on the Liverpool fans was turned down last night on sky. You could hear them belting out but at a weird volume.
We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

I agree, sounded very weird on TV. The normal allocation we get for Chelsea sounded louder than the extra 2.5k last night.

Was there a big gap between the away fans and the home end, particularly in the upper? Looked on TV like loads of seats were covered up which we could have had.

Absolute nightmare getting in.  Missed the first 10-15 minutes.  Wasn't even searched so not sure why it all took so long.  Joke club from top to bottom.

Got in, was in row 15 of the lower tier which was second row from the back.  Poor view with the roof in front not far off head height.

I noticed it ripped, probably because the people stood behind it in the lower tier couldn't see the pitch.

Looked like quite a few covered up on both upper and lower where our section joined the West Stand

We got to the ground early and there were problems at the turnstiles which weren't automatically accepting any tickets. The stewards were then instructed to let us in using an override. I am not sure that got sorted and hence the queues just prior to kickoff.
I had the misfortune of being surrounded by 9 Of their fans on the train home, i had to bite my tongue a complete bunch of dickheads...spent all their time slagging off our players especially Srktel and SG surprise surprise.

My toes have only just defrosted. :)

We were right near their lot, giving it loads and singing about Gerrard like they are a big club who have had success!!!

Was made up to equalise and then to win before extra time was the icing on the cake, was made up to knock them out.

Weird atmosphere tonight, dunno if it was anything to do with it being freezing and a night game on a midweek day.

Patches of singing across both tiers, however we found our voice now and again.

Atmosphere was boss when the tide finally turned towards last 10 mins.

Anyways....onto the next round!

As mentioned thought the atmosphere was pretty awful, not many people singing towards front of block H, row E. Bolton fans singing more about Stevie than their own team? small team antics.

Last 10 minutes was brilliant and worth the trip. Felt sorry for the guy next to me who got hit so hard from person behind him when Raheem scored, he lost one the lenses for his glasses and he mentioned he was a coach driver (not sure if he was driving from the game). Got home 2:30am, back up for work at 6:30am and still singing Coutinho's name. Little Magician!

Was down the front and the atmosphere was alright, as said above the last 10 minutes was brilliant! Although saw someone kicked out after the equaliser for running onto the disabled bit between the stand and the pitch, was very harsh but he left with a big grin!

As others have said, quiet in patches but last ten minutes was brilliant, covered in bruises today! It was bloody freezing too. Oh yeah, and that game with kids playing football in those giant orb suits at half time was genuinely one of the funniest things I've seen at a match!

So fucking bored of shite little teams singing the Gerrard song now though, must have taken them seconds from celebrating their goal to go back to it. It must make their sad little year being able to tell their friends the next day how they goaded Stevie, the small time twats.

To be fair, on the telly you could hear OUR original Steve Gerrard/Fuckin hard song (not the Bolton fans singing the national anthem one!) from the kick off. Also FOAR during the match and YNWA at the end so we weren't out sung by any means! These knobheads who start the anti-Gerrard song just serve to inspire a rousing rendition of the original and best version. 😉
